Im wondering how do believers cope with their all loving god if he causes such destruction, or in a best case scenario alowes such pointless destruction?

Re: Re Punishment
Now as far as Japan goes they knew they were building on a fault line for years so they have no one to blame but themselves.
Well their whole friggin island is on the faultline, and you want them to move will you be gracius enough to give them enough land to make their own country?
Good things happen to good people.
Good things happen to bad people.
Bad things happen to good people.
Bad things happen to bad people.
So what you are saying god has nothing to do with the good things and bad things that happen. All he does is Allowe thousands to die in a pointless natural disaster, even tough he could save them?

Sadly the same is true for lots of good things too. I cant tell you how many times I heard somebody say that US Airways flight 1549, that went down into Hudson river, and nobody died, was a mirical....BS....The pilot did a good job, well the crew did a good job.
The worst are when some disaster kills lots of people and one is found alive a few days later and all the religious nuts go god saved him he was looking out for him isn't god wonderful, firstly ignoring their OWN logic that if he saved that person he could have saved all of them and if he is fully in charge of nature he had to cause the disaster in the first place.
And secondly people are made tougher then they look and can withstand more punishment then one would think so there are bound to be some that go even beyond that norm and survive the seemingly unsurvivable. some examples at around 10 degrees Celsius one can survive 10 days without water, at 50 degrees 2 days, one Irish prisoner survived for 73 days with no food.

Re: Sovereign Entities
Buzz some of us atheists are already scheduling a Not the end of the world party on may 21.
Update Your Browser | Facebook
So whats your timescale buzz so we can schedule a noter one, or do you agree with the may 21 date.
Claims of the end of the world is coming soon are older then Christianity, hell even your Christ said that some of his disciples will live to see the end of the world, guess what all predictions where wrong, why because they are just ravings of delusional religious fanatics who want to make sense of the world trough religious dogma.

Re: May Event
No some quack counted used the bible to figure the date out forgot if this is the guy who calculated the date based on the pigs from a story in the bible or the one that calculated that the earth will be 7000 years old then. both total lols tough the gu has quite a large number of believers that think the rapture starts on the 21 first of may and then 5 months of torment after that the end of the world for us atheists and those who believe in the wrong gods you know the gods that where made up.
