I am glad that your are perfect, but, I guess I will pray that perhaps your attitude will change and you become a little more tolerant and forgiving of those who do not agree with you.
Amazing how you turned around what I said to fit your purposes. Maybe you should take your own advice and be more tolerant. It seems you are the one with toleration issues.

I don't think shadow71 meant anything like that. He just means to wish us well until he returns. Exactly the point. He doesn't understand or think that what he thinks is a wonderful thing, is in fact offensive to some people. If he wants to wish us well he should do it. Not pray for us.

Voodoo?
I wonder how he would feel if someone offered to perform a voodoo ritual over him. Or if wished him a good life, but hope that when he dies, his body is put into a hole in the ground so it can rot and creatures in the soil can get to it(legal in Wisconsin). That is my wish for my body. Would a number of people feel that is offensive? Yes. That is why I don't tell people that I wish that for them. Instead of IOKIYAR, with IOKIYAC(It's OK if you're a christian).

If so could you please summarize it in your own words. I, for one. do not fully understand what they are trying to actually say. Please in layman's terms explain the point they are trying to make and how it supports your idea that evolution is directed. ABE Do you think non-random = directed? The only thing I can figure is what I added by edit. He must think that non-random means the same thing as directed. I would like to get a clear answer from him on that and an explanation as to why he thinks they are the exact same thing.

Hypocritical but consistent
Shadow is just showing the consistency of the fundie/creos we see here. First they try the old tick "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit" Then try the Gish Gallop, throw out different subjects so that you can later claim they they were not all refuted. Then finish with the old "Throw everything up against the wall and see what sticks." If anything sticks, claim victory and switch the subject again. Shadow is truly one of the more dishonest creos we have seen in a while. This is shown by his continuing to equate non-random with directed. He has been shown numerous times that they are not the same thing, but still searches for any paper that uses the term non-random and claims it proves directed evolution. Shadow has become nothing more than a troll. We all now how to deal with trolls.

To me this demonstrates some qualifed scientists do accept Ho as revelant and not a "nutbag". As far as epilgenetics goes, I do not fully understand it, but in the papers I have been reading the authors are saying "epigenetics" and other means of organismatic change may well be beyond the current theory, and there is a need for a new theory. I think non-random may be directed, but in what way I cannot say. In other words you have no idea what anything you are posting means and you can not put any of these abstracts into your own words. In order to do that you would have to know what the words actually mean. Maybe you might want to read the responses that clearly showed that nonrandom is not the same as directed. But then why would you do that. You might learn something and we all know you have no desire to learn.
