Being finite human beings everything we know of happening in our lifetime has a cause and effect. So the default position is that everything has a cause.
Non-sequitur. How does the first statement have anything to do with your conclusion?
Nothing is wrong with a universe existing where things can happen without a cause. But the one we live in has a cause and effect for everything. Please show your evidence.
Thus either existence has always existed, which is a scientific impossibility, according to present theory.
Please explain this present theory. Isn't it funny how you dismiss scientific evidence, but will rely on a theory if you feel it has anything to do with your argument. Isn't that a bit disingenuous? Nay, hypocritical? Maybe if you could define existence there could at least be some sort of conversation here.

I'm saying the universe has not always existed, but the universe does exist now. Existence does not = the universe. Then the Hawking quote does not support your argument.

Just because the word exist is in the quote, does not mean it supports you. I asked if you thought universe=existence. You said no. Hawking is talking about the universe not existence. Show me how he is talking about existence. Again, until you can define existence(without using the word exist) nothing you really say is saying anything.

This reply makes it very clear that you don't even know what you are saying. You have no grasp of the scientific concepts. You don't know if you think the universe equates existence or does not equate existence. You are incapable of even explaining to us what you truly mean by existence. So have fun. I knew trying to debate you was useless, you will always refuse to put aside your preconceived ideas in order to gain an iota of knowledge. Oh, since you have decided Hawking is the penultimate authority on this subject, you agree with him on everything on this subject. I guess your bullshit theory is no longer tenable even in your eyes?

For those who are fascinated by relativity denial, Conservapedia has an article full of such rantings. The author seems to think relativity is some kind of liberal plot.
Conservapedia is truly nutball central. They truly want the USA to become a third world nation. These people want the world to become a feudal theocracy.
