It's true that it usually takes a long time to become well-educated on a particular subject. However, once one is well-educated on a particular subject, it doesn't take long to point out how somebody else is wrong about that subject.
By contrast, it's easy to become wrong - in fact we're born wrong about almost everything. However, it can take a long time to try to explain something sensibly when it isn't sensible.
