Better solution: don't use the worst browser on the market.

Firefox: "Have you seen what CSS3 can do?" Better solution: don't use the worst browser on the market. Chrome: "Yeah! It's really nice!" Opera: "I like it a lot!" Internet Explorer: "What is CSS3?"

Heh, I hadn't heard of CSS (but it did just look it up). Anyways, I've never really used anything but IE and I've never had a problem or any sense that I'm missing something. I've used Firefox and Chrome but didn't see much of a difference. So, can you provide me links to examples of why IE not knowing what CSS3 is would have any effect on my day-to-day browsing? Also, why is IE so much worse and why haven't I noticed anything? ABE: This should be a new topic. I don't know anything about browsers or what makes one better than another. ABE2: Hid off topic brower discussion stuff. Started a new topic. Edited by Catholic Scientist, : No reason given. Edited by Catholic Scientist, : No reason given.

Because folk like me realize what total crap IE is and so write websites that fallback to the limits of IE. Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

When I said explorer, I meant anything that lets you browse the internet. The point isn't about microsoft internet explorer. I don't care if you use firefox, chrome, or your own internet neural interface. You need to clear out your temporary files and assign more space for it. Or you're going to suffer weird behaviors like what Coyote described.
Better solution: don't use the worst browser on the market.

Then that makes you the first person I've ever interacted with that refers to web browsers as explorers. Usually, explorer refers to Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer.
I'm just saying, though. I'm not trying to debate anything or argue. abe: you even said internet explorer so you can see where the confusion comes from..... Edited by hooah212002, : No reason given. "What can be asserted without proof, can be dismissed without proof."-Hitch.

I know, my mistake. Anyway, the point is with any browser you need to clean out your temp files every once in a while and I recommend assigning more space for it. When it's full, weird things will happen.

Coyote, here is what you need to do. Your assigned temporary space is full. When this happens, you will experience symptoms like what you have been experiencing. You need to go into tools, empty out your temporary files, and give yourself more space for temporary memory. Other symptoms of this happening is your flash videos not working correctly, your internet explorer taking forever to load anything, etc. Weird things happen when your temporary space is full. People have come to me over the years to ask about the weird behavior of their explorer. My advice of clearing out temporary files and assign more space works 99% of the time when weird things happen with internet explorer. I use Firefox. What it is doing now is strange. If I log out I can read the different forums and threads. As soon as I log in I can no longer read them. Pretty silly, eh?.
