Lots of expressions get turned into nouns simply by virtue of people repeating them often enough that they become common vernacular in a language and thus are given a pseudo reality. LOL and OMG can now be used as nouns. Murphy's law is now in dictionaries as a noun.
Now here's where it gets trippy so you are going to have to let your mind breathe a little to grasp this. When a piece of buttered bread falls on the floor with the butter side down, Murphys Law didn't make that happen. Even if it happens that way every time. How can Natural Selection not exist? That's news to, well every Biologist alive today. No offense but this statement is simply nonsensical, I honestly wouldn't have a clue where to begin correct this.
