Faith writes: The Constitution requires that a President be born in the USA ... False. Again. I see you know no more about the Constitution than you do geology and yet hold your positions in high regard. What ever happened to studying a topic BEFORE coming to conclusions? Oh yeah, that's not how Faith works. JB

Faith, quit lying. There have been no lies or slander. You are the one that does not care about truth. You will hold on to any flimsy assertion that backs your preconceived ideas and beliefs and claim it is rock solid evidence. To date you have produced absolutely no evidence for any of your wackaloon ideas and assertions. Instead you peddle the fringe ideas of racists and seditionists. It would not matter if he was born in Kenya. Just like Ted Cruz he would still qualify as a natural born citizen.
Hang on to your lies and wackaloon beliefs. Maybe you could at least try to make them consistent.Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts "God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness.

What the hell are you babbling about this time?
This is the first time I've heard anything about Ted Cruz but nothing stops you from making me into a liar. Only you can make yourself into a liar. That is clearly what you are doing with these bat-shit-crazy outbursts of yours. If you do not want to be made into a liar, then stop doing it! And, no, this was not the first time that you've heard about the facts behind Ted Cruz' birth. You have been informed of it several times already in this topic and directly asked to respond about it. Yes, I was the first to tell you about him having waited until less than a year ago to renounce his Canadian dual-citizenship, but you had been amply informed of his foreign birth several times in the past day in this topic. That means that you just lied. You keep making yourself into a liar. Please stop making yourself into a liar. The facts were made clearly from the start: Obama was born in Hawaii of a mother who was a US citizen. Only bat-shit crazies can continue to deny the facts. The ones who care about the truth follow the facts and do not deny them. Birthers do not care about the truth. And please stop lying about everything. We all know all too well how much you hate reality, but that's not a good reason for you to lie about everything. And please learn something about the Constitution.

The Constitution requires that a President be born in the USA No, it does not. It requires that the President be a "natural-born citizen". Citizenship law says that Obama is a US citizen because his mother is one. However, nowhere in citizenship law is "natural born" defined. It is possible that a case could be brought that made its way to the Supremes and forced them to define "natural born". Until then there is no definition in law other than its mention in the constitution. Therefore there is no particular reason to suspect that Obama or Cruz are not natural born citizens, aside from the ludicrous conspiracy fantasy to which Faith and the other nutjobs subscribe.

Yes I've been corrected a number of times about being born in the US But being born in Kenya of a Kenyan father does disqualify Obama from the Presidency and you are all lying about that. Nobody is even bothering to make a case for it because you know it disqualifies him. You'll even go on to say well Ted Cruz has the same kind of situation. So OK, exonerate Cruz so you can exonerate Obama.

The evidence for Kenya is very good. The Hawaiian evidence is faked.

Well no, Faith, in the real world that would not disqualify Obama even if it were true as long as his mother was a US citizen.Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

Faith writes: The evidence for Kenya is very good. The Hawaiian evidence is faked. You are so right! And this is absolute proof that there is a time machine in the White House. Obama went back in time and put a birth announcement in the newspaper and then he cloned a woman to be his mother and then he went further back and shot Lincoln and then even further back and started the myth of Jesus. Thank you so much for revealing the truth finally. What if Eleanor Roosevelt had wings? -- Monty Python One important characteristic of a theory is that is has survived repeated attempts to falsify it. Well no, Faith, in the real world that would not disqualify Obama even if it were true as long as his mother was a US citizen. This is one of the arguments here, but only one. If it's true then there's no problem with Ted Cruz's candidacy so why is anyone making an issue of that? Let me know when you all come to an agreement on which story you all support.

The issue with Ted Cruz is that he is a total idiot and willfully ignorant. Folk need to be crazy to vote for or even hire anyone like him.Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

It's not hard to fake documentary evidence of many kinds. But the evidence that the Hawaiian evidence is faked is mostly in the very good evidence that Obama was born in Kenya. His grandmother's testimony that she was there at his birth among other Kenyan sources; news reporters presenting his Kenyan birth as fact; the identification of Obama as having been born there in a statement by his literary agent in 1991, and many other statements of the same sort before he became a candidate fior the Presidency --- and the rush to get rid of all that previous evidence at that point sure does suggest that being born of a Kenyan father in Kenya does disqualify him, even in the eyes of some of his supporters. Again, you guys really need to get your stories together. And the mailman who was told by Mary Ayers that they were helping a "foreign student." And that's just a few bits of evidence I found.

Faith writes: ... But being born in Kenya of a Kenyan father does disqualify Obama from the Presidency ... Do you just wake up in the morning and decide to make shit up that's not true? First you asserted that one had to be born in the US to be President. Now you're asserting that the Kenyan father disqualifies him. Aren't Christians supposed to go to hell unless they tell the truth? Have you ever ONCE thought about studying before speaking? JB

Let me know when you all come to an agreement on which story you all support. We support the story that Republicans are a bunch of hypocrits, and that story remains true. Somehow, Obama's possible birth in Kenya somehow meant he couldn't be president even though he was a US citizen by law, and even though he was born in the US. Cruz openly admits that he was not born in the US, and those same conservatives say that he can be president by law. The words "hoisted" and "petard" come to mind.

Ted Cruz was born in Canada, and he is running for president. Conservatives don't seem to have a problem with it. How do you explain this?

Depends on whether it's Constitutionally okay for Obama to have been born in Kenya of a Kenyan father if it's okay for Ted Cruz to have been born in Canada of a Cuban father. I haven't been following the election preliminaries beyond noting headlines here and there and haven't given any of this any thought. I figure you all can decide if Cruz is Constitutionally eligible or not. I look forward to the welter of conflicting statements to continue as you all scramble to justify Obama by hook or by crook. Wish I had some potato chips. Prefer them to popcorn.
