I don't like it.Unless I missed something, and I can't go back to check, it seems that I can't see message ratings or member ratings until I cast my first vote. Can anyone else confirm this?Edited by Dr Adequate, : No reason given.

A more informative system would be to tally likes and dislikes separately, rather than providing an aggregate.What does a score around 0 tell you? Well either the person in question is blandly neutral and has never attracted attention any way, or is a divisive and polarizing figure who has been the object of outrage and admiration in equal measure ... and both these people are represented by the same number?

I don't know about this suggestion --- it's either really easy, or completely impossible. But I was wondering whether old img hotlinks where the link doesn't work any more could be signaled with a default image saying "image missing" or something like that. As it is, reading old posts can sometimes be confusing because the text of the post just carries on as though nothing was ever there at all.Thanks.Edited by Dr Adequate, : No reason given.
