I am having problems with the width of the existence topic. I believe it may be a problem with msg 786, the whole page 40, 20 post per page, is messed up. This problem only happens on that particular page. I am running puppy Linux w FF5

Re: Down arrows
I don't like it either, maybe if the arrow turned red or somthing when it was turned down would help, the old way was easier visually.

Re: Down arrows
I think it does, could be a little more pronounced. Maybe the unread msg arrow could be green?? Just a thought.
Thanks for all time and effort you put in to this site.

Is this what you intended?

Did you mean to have more then 1 thumbs up showing or just 1 with the # of ups or downs?
AbE seems you are working on that now.

Re: New Message Rating System
confirmed
It may cause a few problems when some people see who rated them bad maybe? Anonymity might not be a bad thing, we will see.
Someone has to rate an up or down on the person you want to see, I gave you an up, refreshed and your rating showed up, I went back and hit up again cancelling it and now you can still see your rating....also tried it on a few more, wouldn't work for Jar though??

More contrast?
The new like/dislike icons are a little hard to see clearly, more contrast might help, it could just be me also?
AbE... red/green maybe?

Re: More contrast?
Another strange bug... when I gave a plus to Cs message and refreshed, the member rating of C disappeared...when I reversed it and refreshed it reappeared??
Didn't happen with Jar, just thought I would experiment a bit, I gave both a + but C member ranking disappears as Jars doesn't after a refresh?
AbE... It seems that if a member rating is 0 then nothing shows, when i gave C a + and it brought C from a - 4.1 back to 0.

Re: Citing Member Ratings
I have respect for some members' views of my posts on certain subjects and couldn't care less about others.
This is one reason I like that we can now see who doesn't like a post. I have wondered more than once who didn't like what I had to say, depending on who it was I may or may-not have asked them why. I expect people to disagree with me, knowing why people who I respect don't agree with me is a way to learn.

The avatar update has always been a little messed up. I guess now that I know you sell this software it would be a good time to bring this up, I was playing with my AV today and now cant change it back to one I have used before??
When I use "browse" it never shows me the file I have opened? Most of the time when I hit "update" it changes it to the file I opened, even though it Does not show the file name I have chosen to open.

Re: Avatar file won't show in browse field (or will it?)
You have to hightlight the text in order to see it
I see that now, sort of a strange bug. A preview feature for the avatar might be nice also, one that shows the avatar in the same size as it will be seen on your post.
The changes I made when switching avatars only shows up after I refresh also, that's why I thought it wasn't accepting the new one, as soon as I refreshed the new one was there. No biggie, but a bit confusing if you are not aware of these glitches.

Recently I posted something I think Coyote would be a better judge of accuracy on and said so in the post. If I could maybe have formatted his name in a certain way that it sent him a notification that his opinion was wanted, or just to make sure they seen the msg for whatever reason.
I think this might be a nice feature.
