Just went to the CNN web site to find out how the US gov't was doing in trying to get its act together. I noticed a box on the side that indicated which were the most read stories in the news.
Here they are:
Most popular stories right now
1/ Harris: Sex with Hef lasted 'two seconds'
2/ U.S. Olympic skier takes own life
3/ Actress: I got compliments for looking emaciated
4/ CBO sends Boehner back to drawing board
#1 was read more that 3 times more than was #4.
What a world.

Everybody is entitled to my opinion.

Boehner is no more than a bad joke. I can't blame anybody for not taking him seriously.
That's hardly the point. He is a player is this debacle in the US gov't right now that is on the verge of driving the US economy into the tank. (It's not going to do those of us who live next door any good either. ) However people are way more interested in the sex life of some guy who's in his 80's.

Right. But most of us cannot do anything about it, until November 2012. In the meantime, it is just boring.
It may be boring to you but if they don't come to a reasonable solution soon it will cease to be boring.
The two lead stories on CNN are both about the debt crisis and neither one is in the top 4 read stories that they list.
This one should be read by everyone and everyone down there should be putting pressure on theri reps to sort this out.
Debt Crisis

Think about it, though. Which group of people...(in general) republicans or democrats...would be most affected by a default?
Who cares. Everybody loses. The DOW is down another 200 points today.
