. Mail fraud can be punishable by up to 20 years in prison
Given his unapologetic and remorselessness, given he was explicitly and formally told to not do what he has allegedly done, should he be found guilty I would have thought he'd get quite a high sentence if that is the maximum.
My Googling says the max prison sentence is 30 years if you try and defraud a financial institution and 5 years otherwise, maybe the discrepancy is something to do with State laws? Either way, I don't rate his chances at avoiding considerably more time.
