holy hell! I didn't know it was out yet. I've been tentatively waiting for this for some time. I shall give it a whirl since you gave it a thumbs up.

I like Star Wars and I like MMO's. I have tried my hand at a number of MMO's and only really gotten into one of them. However, that is more due to the fact that I am quite certain I have adult ADD...I can't sit and do one thing for too long. Also, I do enjoy Star Wars and have watched it numerous times, but I'm no fanboy or anything (I don't give a fuck who shot first). That said, it looks like a fucking killer game so I will be giving it the old college try.

12Sky and 12Sky2. They are martial arts MMO's. 12Sky is dead now and 12sky2 is for fuck because the company that runs it, Aeria Games, has made it such that you need to be a rich bastard to be any good even though it is free-to-play.

Any MMO I have played I have done the same. that way, PvP victories feel like they are earned, in the event that the PvP battle is team v team as opposed to 1on1.

Yea, it sucks. It completely pushed me away from the game. What little actual skill is involved (at least in this particular game I mentioned), the little pricks who have mommy's unlimited credit card PWN ass because they can buy gear and make it a shit experience for any serious player who can't dump 100's of dollars a month/week on shit.Edited by hooah212002, : No reason given.

Well, upon further investigation, SW:TOR can fuck right off. I don't game enough to pay a monthly fee.

Well, in the game I was referring to, that was exactly the case and everyone knew about it. I did not intend to make it sound as though it was that way for every game of this type. Well that, I would not disagree with and would take no issue with. But the game in particular rewarded people heftily for paying for items. The guy I played with (old roommate) had no job and grinded his ass off and was never top of the leaderboards because he couldn't buy his way there. I am sure other games are different, but for this particular game that I played (and enjoyed for a long time) that was the case.

What makes you say that? What other MMO's that initially came out with monthly fees are now free to play? Eve is still pay to play, Guild Wars is still pay to play, WoW is very much pay to play. Perhaps you've some knowledge unbeknownst to me, but any strictly MMO that comes out as pay to play doesn't stand to go free to play.

12Sky2 For me...yea, it kinda is. Stupid rent, car payment and food gets in the way of leisure.

It's not, really. I just don't have a wonderful job and the old lady is a stay at home. 2 kids (one of which I pay ~$600/month in child support for yet have him half the time), a car payment in which the loan company forcefully put insurance on which raised my car payments to that of a lexus for the past year and being a verizon customer and have gotten my bill as low as possible. Oh, and I suck at managing my money.

Yep, that too. I work in Racine and live in Delavan (Lake Geneva area). ~1 hour each way.

Yea...we don't go out to eat either. Unless you count going to my parents house on frequent weekends and having my mom cook for us as going "out" to eat.

Do you realize that, since you change the subtitle text, the "Re:" bit is unnecessary and could be construed as disingenuous as it implies that the subittle text you superimpose is the subtitle text used by the post you are replying to? Just saying that it (potentially) subtracts even further any credibility you could ever possibly hope to garner.
