That may be true amongst the Rep base, but independents will be swayed by the facts which are on the side of the ACA and the Dem party.

I suspect the problem is that they want to believe that the misinformation is true. They really are a lost cause. They just do not like Obama. Period. Mainly because they pretend to be anti-secularists. There is still a very strident conservative christian streak in this country that sees secularism as Satan. People are willing to forgive policies that are detrimental to them as long as secularism does not win. I think it is instructive that we elected a black president before we elected an overtly atheist president.

No one is disagreeing that hard working people create great businesses. Indeed. With Ryan as the VP candidate I think Romney just lost Florida. Given the high number of Florida voters that rely on SS and Medicare I can't imagine that they will win over independent voters, or energize the Republican base, when your veep wants to gut those very programs.
