This is a link that is on the front page of conservapedia at the moment.
Question Evolution!
I personally think it is funny that they measure success by how boring it gets when creationists don't show up to defend themselves.

Gee, nice to be mentioned, even if only in an obituary!
His graph seems accurate, seems to track the decline in messages posted. It would be interesting to see a graph that went all the back to 2001.
Any guesses as to the creationist he quotes who says he was banned? Sounds like ForEverYoung, except that he's not suspended anymore.

I don't pay too much attention but I don't think the ban was recent. It must be someone from the past. Faith?
What weird is that it seems like all most people have to do to be let back in is ask.

As for EvC Forum, I am banned. Percy will not reinstate me. If the Forum is dead then there is no mystery as to why. Without Creationists there can be no forum.
Assuming that this is a recent banning, there is a poster who fits some definition of being irrevocably banned, and who is notorious for claiming victory after each drubbing. The poster I have in mind is not completely banned, but he has not posted in about a month.
I cannot recall any other Creationist who could claim to be banned during the past few years.
Some guy named Ray Martinez was pretty noisy about being banned and I used to see his name turn up in searches. But that was quite some time ago, and before my time here.

Meanwhile over a conservapedia free and open debate is flourishing. It's reminiscent of the golden age of Athens. No, wait, I mean Stalin's Russia, I keep getting those two mixed up.

I have no idea. I wouldn't trust my comments to be left up on there anyway.

Apparently not. I guess this is what they call "irony".

Ray posted here (and on several other forums e.g. Theology Web) as Willowtree. That was before he discovered talk.origins where anything goes.
I seem to remember that he was banned, but I could be wrong.

the banned creationist?
Simple? He wasn't so much a creationist as a wide-ranging loony. IIRC he posted under several different nyms. But I think he was banned.

We should have a wake! Since there seem to be so many ghosts still haunting the place, I suggest October 31 for the date.

There is a follow-up posting at questionevolution.blogspot.com
Question Evolution!: Evolutionist at EvC Forum admits his debate forum is a ghost town! Try banning fewer creationists when they win debate after debate! We challenge Percy to a debate!

I see that they have also challenged Percy to a live oral debate.

He seems determined to uphold the stereotype of creationists as liars and halfwits. This is unfair to the honest and intelligent creationists --- both of them.

That's a standard creationist trick, and it means nothing.
Science is conducted through scientific journals and professional meetings, with lots of peer review and time to do research and consider the evidence.
Creationists love oral debates because showmanship, rather than scholarship, can be impressive and carry the day with a lot of their supporters.
Creationists hate written debates because they require evidence, logic, and lots of references. Showmanship has no place there, and the glib response can be carefully examined and rebutted.
So issue a counter challenge: Come here and engage in a written debate providing solid references for any claims, and follow the scientific method.
You'll hear crickets...

Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge.
