Far be it from me to pass judgement on Percy and his methods, but it seems that lately (past few months or so perhaps), anyone even remotely religious has (contrary to their whiny claims crying about persecution) gotten a free pass to spew as much bullshit as they want without worry. I'm going to second this. The only thing this poster posts about is single mothers and his apparent disdain for fatherless children. Every single topic is cluttered with his posts about it, yet he has been told nothing.

You know how to stop trolls from posting? Ignore them. why you guys continue trying to have actual discussion is beyond me.

Most of us have been in the game for a while and know when to call a spade a spade. It doesn't take 600 messages to determine someone to be a troll. We are smart enough and have seen enough shit to be able to see discussion tactics that are distinctly troll-like and not at all genuine. If all it takes is for someone to use religion as a shield to shit all over this place, you're in for a bad time and frankly, does a great disservice to your own beliefs. It shows that you know religion/faith hampers your ability to reason. Is that really the message you want to send? Is that how moderation is supposed to work? Is that the environment EvC is hoping to create? One that is so desperate for religious members that they have no standards, are allowed to break the rules and anyone that reciprocates their behavior is suspended (as long as that person is not religious, of course)?If so, fuck this place and fuck you. I'd rather circlejerk myself to death on /r/atheism if there are to be no standards. I come here because there ARE standards and there is thoughtful discussion with people that know what they are talking about (not that anyone gives a shit why I am here and could care less if I never posted again, but I am sure others feel the same). I would like Percy to chime in so I can gauge whether this is the environment he wishes to establish. At least moose is just straight up irrational towards everyone with no bias. But I also knew that the thread was going nowhere and was in the faith and belief section (not exactly the pinnacle of posting facts, data or anything relevant). I posted things that went right in line with faith and belief and went right in line with how dadman was posting. I followed OP's lead. How the hell was that wrong?
