There was no "Vote for Obama because he has done... or will do..."
This morning I voted for Obama because I do not feel that I can trust a word that comes from the other candidate. After seeing how often Mitt has changed his words, I feel I must go for the lesser of two evils, which is Obama.

This is another reason I cannot vote for the Republicans. So much hate toward other groups has been spewed out of that party within the last few months that frankly, they scare the daylights outta me!
However, Obama was actually my second choice as far as president was concerned. I was a very big fan of Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate. I feel that he has some great progressive ideas that would actually benefit the country. Also, my vote for Obama will count for about zero, since I live in Arizona, which is a Super-Red State.
In all honesty, I am not sure either of the main two candidates for President are that great and so it was not a main concern of mine. As an Arizona resident, my first main concern for this election is to do my part in hopefully removing Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his posse of hooligans that have been running our sheriff's office for too long. He has cost this state far too much money, has made too many deals under the table with family and friends for government contracts, and (while I believe prisoners should not be treated great) he has treated prisoners inhumanely, some of which has ended in deaths. It is time for Arizona to clean up this trash that has littered our state for too long. (Bonus=After the whole Birther thing, even a lot of Republicans have turned on Sheriff Joe, so it might finally be the year!!!!)

I want to live in a country where as many people as possible are healthy, educated and productive. I think I know which candidate is more likely to move us in this direction, and I just voted for him this morning.
I find education is one of my key points that I care about and I feel that the Dems are more concerned with that aspect. This is the other reason that I leaned toward Obama and away from Romney.
