Man with concealed-carry permit fatally shoots would-be robber
So what about the other 761 people who were shot dead in Chicago this past year? Or the 2788 who were shot but didn't die? How many of those were self defense?
Just for a little context there have been 3,412 Americans killed by terrorists from 2001-2014 inclusive and over 440,000 killed by non terrorist gun fire. You guys lose more people every 3 months to gun fire than you lost soldiers in the 7 years of the Iraq war. Is there any ratio so disproportionate as to make you rethink your position on unrestricted gun ownership?
