I figure any airline is best if you buy two weeks in advance. I also figure New York City's airports would probably be the cheapest even though it will mean a long commute for me to pick her up.
It is very easy to compare airfares online. Try kayak.com as a start. It might be cheaper to fly her closer to you than driving half way across the country to get her.(have no clue where you are) NY is not always cheapest gateway, Chicago and Atlanta have many flights to Europe.
She needs help from me though in telling her which airport to go to and which airline.
Potential red flag here. If she can get on the internet she can do the same research as you. Tell her to find the cheapest flight to a major airport.
