As everyone has seen with obvious displeasure, I am not the most agreeable person to deal with, at least not in online debates. Although I do not behave as such in public, there are other qualities about me that prevent me from being seen as mister congeniality. Part of my personal angst is that I have zero luck in attracting good looking women to date. I can get dates, but they are usually unattractive and/or overweight. I guess you could criticize me for being shallow, but those are my standards. Good looking women usually scowl at me when they even get the slightest hint that I may entertain the possibility of asking them out. For this reason, I have become disallusioned with american women for dating purposes. I have placed by picture and profile on a foreign dating site and as of now, have over 200 hundred responses from beautiful women who appear to be desperate. I don't believe they are desperate because of their looks; they are desperate because of the situation they find themselves in and are eager to have a foreign man rescue them from that and take them to a place where they can have a better life.
I feel like a huge loser for even considering this possibility, but I am at my wits end. Has anyone ever had experience with these sites and are they a scam as I suspect they are?
Thanks guys. I have been getting advice from women friends in real life. This is the first advice I have gotten from guys. It gives a totally different perspective. Someone who did not post publicly on this thread gave me really good advice in a PM and I will be messaging him regarding that soon. I am also going to read RAZD's evolution based thread and see if it gives me any insights.
I am willing to bet that there is more than meets the eye to all of them. I wish I know of a way to talk to them in such a way as to rat them out so to speak. I want to catch them in the act of their deception.
There has been a ton of wisdom and enlightenment shown here. I will come back to read this thread for some time, at least until I get this problem licked. I did realize something though after reading this which I suspected already. This isn't just a women problem for me; it is a social problem for me. I may have an IQ of 136 in general but I have less than a 60 IQ when it comes to social ability. I am fucking scared to death. That is my problem. I guess it might be called social anxiety but I am not even sure that qualifies.

DANC 3500: This course involves the study of dance as a societal phenomenon. Students will examine the unique characteristics of dance and its various functions in society. Emphasis will be on dance in Western Civilization. However, materials will be included to the extent that they have influenced the development of dance in the West.
I will actually be taking a PE class next semester that isn't part of my degree requirements. It is called strength and conditioning and it will be mostly hands on.
I know I don't have a sense of humor. My roommate recently threw a party for me as I was going out of town for two weeks. She knows that I have ZERO social skills and it was an effort to help me improve. She took several pictures at the party and everyone managed to be able to smile for the camera except for ME. I mean I tried as hard as I could and even when I tried to force a smile, it still showed up as a frown on the picture. My lack of a sense of humor and my desire to have one is one of the reasons for my recurrent depression states. I try positive thinking when negative thoughts enter, but I guess it takes a long time to convince your brain that it is thinking inaccurately about reality. One person said the main thing that is keeping from having a sense of humor is my lack of the ability to say "I don't give a shit", and really mean it. The only time when I am able to say that phrase is when I have had a few drinks. I recognize that is a dangerous place to be in and so I don't take the easy way out on that problem. I take everything very personally and even take things that were never meant to insult personally. It's enough to make you want to slit your wrists, but I haven't because I still hold out hope.
What was going on in your head? What were you thinking about in front of the camera? Some people are just camera shy. Don't think they do well on film. Or is there something deeper in there eating at you?
In my conscious mind, I was thinking I have to force something that just isn't there. I am not able to smile period, camera or not, except for very rare occasions. The reason? It is subconscious and developed over time I assume. I am a very dark person and have been for a very long time.

No. I don't know there was no insult intended as was just revealed on this very thread. It is only after someone reveals the irrationality of my thoughts that I realize that there was no insult intended. I always assume people think the worst of me in any situation.
Have you tried drugs? Judging by how stiff you are around people I imagine you haven't. You should try doing some mushrooms, or maybe try some MDMA. Go on a mental trip. Evolve your brain, dude.
You say you're a dark person inside, well so am I. I just have the attitude that that is for me to have to deal with and that it isn't something I should inflict on others.
I don't want to be a dark person anymore. Why would you just settle for "dealing" with it? I fricken hate it. I want to get rid of it; not deal with it.
