This is similar to how I learned. I tried to argue YEC and met with arguments from every field of science. It exposed me to a lot as I investigated each argument.

Yes, as long as facts are given as being unconnected to each other, there is no problem to the YEC. Once you show how the facts fit together, it is disputed.

It seems to me that when new species are formed, they usually contain more genetic material and not less.
