Re: Not sure what's going on ...
What does 'more uniqueness' even mean? It doesn't make any sense at all. There can't be shades of uniqueness . It's either unique or it isn't. Are you trying to change meanings of words? Trying a word salad?

Why you are here in this universe and what is your destiny ?
Just like the Tethys Sea. No why's and no destiny. Just existed for some time as a result of nature.
The Tethys existed for a lot longer than I will. In the end it disappeared. Just like I will. I'm not special in the Universe. Neither are you. Even though you want to believe that you are. You aren't. You're just one of many.
Even though you think you are; you're not special. At all.

Re: First man?
This one is ridiculous:
jaywill writes:
Evolutionists believe we are looking at the effect of long TIME to fade one species into another.
Please don't tell untruths about what biologists actually can demonstrate. You telling untruths certainly does not do your religion any favours.
Hope you do know that the theory of evolution involves genetic variation and natural selection. And that new species have evolved, both in the field, as well as in numerous labs. Right in front of our own eyes. By way of those mechanisms.
Please stop telling untruths, jaywill. Lots of people posting here are not as stupid as you think they are.

I have no particular comment on the Tethys Ocean besides this. Eternal life is not like this Tethys Ocean geological feature.
That's true. They're not the same at all.
Eternal life is wishful thinking. No evidence for it. That's one of the reasons humanity invented thousands of Gods. Your particular God is just one of those invented by humans.
On the other side; there's plenty of evidence that the Tethys Sea existed. No wishful thinking involved.

I stand by the statement. That's what gradualism is all about.
Your statement remains incorrect and untrue. It will always be. No matter how many times you repeat an untruth; it will always remain an untruth.

I don't think we have observed the kind of macro evolution that allows gulls to change drastically enough to arrive at a new species.
Actually, the theory of evolution perdicts that gulls will remain gulls.
Do you even know that there's quite a few different species of gulls around? Do you even know what the word 'species' means? Did you get a strawman of the word 'species' from creationist websites?

Re: First man?
David Menton? No thanks. He's a known liar and a fraud. He's got no credibility.
Rather refer to the work the numerous scientists who worked on all those Australopithecus fossils (including Lucy) themselves and published their research in peer-reviewed articles.

I would refer you to Astrophysicist Hugh Ross's book "Why the Universe is the Way it Is."
We all have been shown a couple of days ago that Hugh Ross told more than one untruth in a video posted here. Why would you refer to him? He tends to tell untruths.

Pointing out untruths is not slander. It's pointing out the untruths they tell.

Speciation is macro-evolution.

I mean it is not fair to point to changes in dogs, for example, and argue that we observe evolution therefore apes gradually gave birth to humans.
Humans are apes.

Re: First man?
I don't think jaywill knows what the word 'species' means. From his posts I gathered that he thinks it is equivalent to the word 'kind' so realily spread around in creationist websites. It isn't.
However, they don't ever attempt to define what they mean with word 'kind'. It can mean anything and everything which they think can more-or-less suit the 'argument' they're trying to make.
In the end, it defeats their purpose, because they claim that the word 'kind' means something with definite boundaries. Not changeable. Boundaries they refuse to define. Thery just claim they are there.
In reality we don't find that at all. The boundaries between species are very fuzzy...just like the theory of evolution predicted.

jaywill is misleading people
jaywill writes:

Actually, you are the person slandering all the other scientific PhD’s by referring to two Ph.D’s telling untruths about the others. And the PhD's you mentioned commented outside their fields of expertise. You are the one telling all those other PhD’s that they all are wrong.
If you look at the number of doctoral scientists in the US which was 752 000 in 2008, you will realize that mentioning untruths by two scientists, without even reading and investigating at least the Doctoral theses of those other scientists, who published inside their areas of expertise, you are misleading people.

I don't regard this kind of character assassination as much more than cheerleading propoganda.
Says someone who refers to a small number of people character assisinating hundreds of thousands of scientists from all over the world...claiming that they all tell constant untruths about everything....

LOL.
They should actually have steps in loonieness. Four of them. They should have a few websites going from 'Loons'. Then another one: 'More Loonier'. Thn another one 'Most Looniest'. Then, the ultimate, called: 'Most Dentonist'.
