I googled it. There's one shot of it posted directly below a sign that says, "RIGHT LANE MUST TURN RIGHT." I don't know if that makes it funnier.

The tail is cut off in the original so this isn't a shitty chop-job to complain about.

Re: Thesaurus

It's the same old story. Formatting.
When I was a kid maybe 10, I sent some of my favorite photos in to be printed 5x7 and I couldn't figure out why the whole photo wasn't in the print. The clerk at the drugstore camera counter tried to explain that 35mm film was a ratio of 2:3 and there was no way to fit that into 5:7 without cropping or shrinking the photo to fit inside the 5x7 dimensions. All the intervening years in my own darkroom I had to decide how I wanted to crop my photos to print them on the standard paper sizes: 8x10, 11x14, or 16x20. Finally, in the age of digital photography, I have choices of paper sizes that match the format of my camera. My favorite is 17x25, so I can print full frame 16x24.
And that's why the thesaurus' tail is cut off.

Obvious question: Why not print the whole image inside the paper dimensions and then crop the print?

Re: Thesaurus

I was only 10, so it took a while for the math to infiltrate my mind. Eventually, I saw that solution but it turned out to amazingly difficult to communicate my desire to the photolab techs. And then it turned out that no stores sold frames for the new cropped print sizes and I'm paying for all this with my lawn mowing earnings.
Later, my wife and I had a full matting and framing setup as well as a darkroom. We still do, but the darkroom evolved into her computer lab.

It makes you wonder if their tails could grow back like some lizards do?

Lol!
All photos crop reality. No explanation needed, but I like this one anyway!
