Yes. Yet, I have no evidence for them.Thoughts, dreams, imaginations, ideas are not things. They lack thingness. People have made nouns out of those words, but it does not follow that they exist as actual things.

I don't see that as any kind of problem. The idea that it is a problem seems confused. Since they are subjective, not objective, why would you expect (or want) science to "objectively see them"? No, you are not any kind of authority on them. You have misunderstood the meaning of "authority". Nobody is sacrificing anything, as best I can tell -- unless you count woo-meisters sacrificing their credibility.

I suppose that depends on what you mean by "entity" and what you mean by "reality".Personally, I have standards that don't allow consider what you call "private entities" to be entities at all. Without standards, you would have to allow gnomes, gremlins, tooth fairies, ghosts, and all kinds of nonsense entities. I'm not sure what point you think you are making there. For myself, I do not suggest that everything has a mechanical explanation. As I see it, we value the mechanical explanations from science because they are very useful. There is no need to assume that they constitute a complete explanation of everything.
