it could actually lead to people putting up signs that Mormons can not enter their place of business.
You WILL BE CHECKED for magic underwear!!!

Re: Such a groundswell of opinion against freedom of religion
The only thing I might want to hold the Christians to is that if they are going to stand on conscience against homosexuality they should also stand on conscience against other sins such as adultery, unmarried couples living together and all that. However there may not be a comparison here either, if it doesn't involve actually being required to validate the adultery etc.
A bakery insisting on proof of virginity for the bride-to-be won't be selling too many wedding cakes in 2014. And probably not that many in 1914.
Cafeteria Christianity, anyone?

Re: something to think about
Keep in mind that it would be possible to live among such riches without knowing how to exploit them. Knowledge is also God's gift.
No to be braggin' or nuthin', but I'll bet I know more about cementing and fracking oil wells than Jesus does. Just sayin'.....

Re: Something more to think about
Wow! AZ Paul has already said everything that needs to be said on the entire internet for the rest of the day. I will bow out now.
That was brilliant!

Re: There are Christians who disagree with Faith
There is no way you are going to get me to treat homosexuality as the equivalent of race.
You didn't address me specifically, but I am not concerned about Faith's particular treatment of either. I'm more concerned with treating all people, regardless of race, gender, national origin,....or sexual orientation, equally under the law. Like decent citizens, and even Christians, should do anyway.
Mammy Yokum said it well: "good is better'n evil because it's nicer!
