My problem with any written word conveying the "truth" of a God, is that it is written by man.
Yes, you can argue that it was relayed through "divine intervention," recorded in texts understandable to our eyes. But in the end, some person wrote those words, and there is never a way to prove any of it is actually more than a good story.
Oh, I dunno. If there were prophecies that were actually fulfilled, and were also particularly
specific, then that would suggest that there was more going on than just a good story.
Like, if an ancient text predicted that a user named mikechell would post a reply here with the subtitle "New to the site ...." and it would be on 06-08-2015 at 2:59 pm, then wouldn't that prove that it was more than just a good story?
