More bullshit Faith
A cake does not validate a marriage.
To claim it does is absurd.
Sorry but the bakery folk were no different than other bigots down through the ages.
So please present evidence that same sex couples have been forced to marry?
Please explain how a marriage with a cake is more valid than a marriage without a cake?

The Pro Life nutjobs
Faith, how can you complain about what happened related to the bakery in light of the general behavior of all the pro life nutjobs who trash clinics, get laws passed closing down clinics, shout obscene things at pregnant women trying to visit the clinics?
How is the LGBT groups behavior different than the pro life nutjobs behavior?

Christian?
Faith writes:
Nevertheless a Christian couldn't vote for gay marriage under any circumstances.
Bullshit Faith. I am a Christian and support same sex marriage so once again you are shown to be at best misrepresenting reality.

Well, no, we do not know if they are peaceful. And how is any of that behavior different than one bakery getting upset because they did break the law?
Get real Faith.

Re: Christian?
the Very Reverend refers to a Dean and the Right Reverend refers to a Bishop. Reverend Canon refers to a Canon who is also a priest. Most Reverend would refer to the Presiding Bishop.

Faith and her Christian Cult of Ignorance.
Faith writes:
Jar calls the antichrist apostates Christians and you make a big deal out of one poll that claims there is now majority support for gay marriage which is possible, SOMEWHERE, but doubtful.
Sorry Faith but I am a Christian as are the people I mentioned. YOU can call them antichrist apostates but that does not change the fact that they are still in the Apostolic Succession.
AbE:
Not just Christians Faith but Protestant Christians.
/AbE:
You do know what the apostolic successions is do you not?
Your silly assertions have little support in reality.

More absurdities from Faith.
No, you can try to get the Constitution Amended. But you cannot vote in unconstitutional laws.

Re: Popular opinion cannot over rule the Constitution.
Faith writes:
Really it comes down to the fact that you all regard homosexuals as a legitimate minority group protected by the First Amendment and I don't.
What you think is of course irrelevant. It is what the courts consider to be legitimate minority groups.
Faith writes:
You also don't seem to care that Christians were originally the concern of the First Amendment, THE group that had been oppressed and persecuted in Europe and founded the nation on the concept of liberty and fought for that liberty in the Revolutionary War and wanted that liberty guaranteed in the Constitution of the new nation.
Yes, the First Amendment was designed because people feared Christian dominion, particularly the Puritan and Calvinist minority found in New England.

Only after the Constitution was Amended Faith.
Discrimination based on race, creed, national origin or sex is unconstitutional. Banning equal rights to same sex couples related to marriage is discrimination.

Faith and her New Speak.
LOL
What YOU call a perversion, not what the SCOTUS considers a perversion.
But Faith, what YOU think is a perversion is relevant only in relation to YOUR behavior. If you think same sex marriage is wrong then YOU are free not to marry someone of the same sex.
And that is it Faith. Your bigotry is just that, bigotry. You are free to be a bigot. Your Church is free to be a church of bigots.
But you are NOT free to decide who is a Christian or who other people wish to marry.
AbE: And Faith, in case you didn't notice, a homosexual marriage is between two men or two women and discriminating against a same sex marriage by definition is sexual discrimination.
And marriage is NEVER a religious contract in the US, it is a secular State sanctioned contract. Religions can bless, sanctify, acknowledge a marriage but it is the State license that validates a marriage and the State delegation that allows priests, pastors, ministers, and clergy to perform marriage ceremonies.
