It was meant to happen last month but this has been postponed until early 2015. The labour commissioner then makes a final order. It's about Matt Stolhandske, a gay evangelical Christian who's on the board of an activist group called "Evangelicals for Marriage Equality" and who is trying to raise the money for the fine that the couple may be facing (though the article says that the amount of the fine is a done-deal, though that could be because of what the Kleins themselves were telling everybody as they've been hitting the rounds at Religious Right meetings and conventions, eg Values Voter Summit). The article ends quoting Matt Stolhandske:

It was also interesting that according to Faith's link it is a Christian couple who support same sex marriage that are trying to raise money to pay any potential costs the bakers may face.

The source was used for one purpose only and that was to prove that they had been fined $150,000. That was true when I posted it and it remains true now. Of course I read the whole article but the point was only to prove the amount of the fine because I had thought it was $180,000 but this source gives a more reliable sounding $150,000. Not that you care, but maybe somebody does.Of course it's very nice of the gay guy to raise the money for them, but he's seriously missing the meaning of the whole thing if he thinks anything can change what God says.Edited by Faith, : No reason given.

I get your point, I didn't read it carefully, I skimmed it and relied on the title too much. OK, so excoriate and vilify me. I was looking for the amount only. Edited by Faith, : No reason given.

I have no idea of excoriating or vilifying you but as usual I will try to help and educate you. When you provide a link to support some position you have taken it is often a good idea to actually read your source. For example reading the link would have let you know your source proved there was no fine and that there are Christians that support same sex marriage.

There is one gay guy helping them, and he calls himself a Christian without considering homosexual acts a sin. Scripture is clear that homosexuals will not enter the Kingdom of God. If you want to be a Christian you have to repent, that's the first command of Jesus.

LOLHe does not just call himself a Christian but is a Christian and working to support Freedom of Speech and Christian Charity.If homosexuality is a sin then it can be judged by God and God can be asked why She created homosexuals if She planned on condemning them.It is not up to you our your Chapter of Club Christian to decide what is or is not a sin except when it concerns the behavior of you Chapter of Club Christian.

You misread the article after preaching at me about not reading carefully and it turns out I was right and you wrong. The state levied a fine it says in black and white.
