Re: It's hard to modify Constitutions
If you don't want to constructively participate, why don't you just not post. Because you look like an asshole.
I am sure you are breaking more than a few forum rules. But more importantly your just being a dick.

Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts
"God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness.

Still beyond the pale and extremely inappropriate for this forum.

Re: Reppin Atheists
As an atheist in the USA, I can say I face derision and and expressions of hate quite often. Some of my wife's family is quite religious and I can be treated as the family embarrassment.
Most of my own family is not religious, but I am looked at as a questionable person at times. Even though I am happily married with two children and as moral as most people I know.
Even among friends that have no religiosity I can be looked at funny because I readily admit my atheism. Atheism is the modern scarlet letter in the USA.

Re: agnostic anyone?
Atheism is different than agnosticism.
They are not different things on a spectrum.
Atheism deals with belief.
Agnosticism deals with knowledge.
There are agnostic atheists and theists and gnostic atheists and theists.

Re: agnostic anyone?
No an agnostic theist believes in a god, they just understand that they do not know there is a god.
An agnostic atheist does not believe in a god, but they admit they do not know there is a god.

Re: agnostic anyone?
Not a linear spectrum, no. But I bet you could come up with one of those 2-D four quadrant graphs.
That is why it cannot be on a linear spectrum.

Re: agnostic anyone?
Wrong.
You understand that there cannot not be any knowledge about the existence of god. A gnostic theist or atheist will tell you they can. Therefore, gnostic and agnostic versions of theist and atheist do exist.

Re: agnostic anyone?
Any self respecting atheist will say that they do not believe that there is a god but add that that there is insufficient information to totally exclude the possibility.
I agree but there are many non-self respecting atheists and theists out there. Because you do not agree they can not exist?

Re: agnostic anyone?
Well you are wrong. Agnosticism does not deal with belief. It deals with knowledge.
I am an agnostic atheist. I do not believes a god exists, bug I do not know that.
I exist therefore agnostics exist.
You need to get agnosticism off of your spectrum between atheist and theist

Re: agnostic anyone?
Ergo, you are an agnostic atheist by definition.
One is knowledge the other belief.

Re: agnostic anyone? when "don't know" is the logical answer.
In neither situation is someone an agnostic.
Yes they are because the feel that they do not know.
Faith is a gnostic Theist. Faith knows there is a god. Faith is delusional but Faith self defines as a gnostic theist.

Re: The Foundation of the Rights of Man
This is not a document of the USA government. When this was written there was no USA and no legal documents of the USA.
Even so the document says nothing that one has to believe in a god in order to participate.
I notice you also ignore the parts that do not agree with your premise.
