There was a survey of plants in bloom in English hedgerows mid-January. There are normally 3 on average. This year there were 28. Incredibly mild winter so far. We had a light dusting of snow overnight last week - all gone by lunchtime.

We miss snow too. Sadly when we get it, the entire country stops working. Everything is broken.
