Since I've answered them all a bazillion times before...
No, you never answered my question to you, but I'll ask again.
What happens when a state has a vote to allow gay folks to marry the person they choose. Then, a few years later, another vote is held and the 'traditionalists' prevail. When does the voting stop? Don't you see the problem here?

ooh child wants to know what about the people voting one way one time and another way another time and doesn't that sort of make the whole thing untenable? Of course not, that's democracy.
So explain to me how that works - that's what I'm asking of you. Tell me, if the system worked the way you want it to what does the government do with families that are, then aren't, then are again recognized for civil rights? Moving to another state, voters allowing then disallowing marriages, death & divorce all affect the status of these couples. Explain it to me, please.

let the voters decide and that be the end of it. There is no need to keep revoting on the issue.
But that's not how California works, Faith. We get to vote on stuff, again & again if enough signatures are collected, so your idea of state's rights allows for this event.
So please answer my question. Tell me how this works, when the whims of the people are allowed to change positions on this issue. Laws have consequences, so explain how the government is supposed to deal with your idea of state's rights.

I know because I've lived in this state most of my life, Faith. I also read, and local polls have changed drastically over the years. I also understand our horribly misused proposition system, and see how easily my scenerio could happen in CA.
Please address my question. You are proposing a solution, so tell me how it works.
