The song was pretty nice - my dad used to sing it. The Charioteers have a nice version on YouTube.

Re: Church of the Immaculate Reflection
Are these chariots of iron, or of some lesser material like bronze or gopher wood?

You go right ahead not requiring evidence, Scott. Do you want to hear about the dragons in my garage?

Post 192 here, just to comment on hew many photons have died needlessly in arguing over a far lesser question than "how many angels can dance on the head of a pin." And that's not even those other poor little photons that were scattered by dust particles to set it all off.

Re: My thoughts on Ezekiel's Vision of God.
Where do you get whatever you're smoking? Have you had it checked for herbicide residues?

Re: SEE WITH YOUR EYES
Doves are circles?
Who knew? The Mourning Doves and Whitewings out here are kind of plump, I guess, but not particularly circular or spherical. Now my cat Francine watches doves a lot, and she's damn near spherical. But even she doesn't look at all like your diffraction rings from dust specks.
And WTF does being lame have to do with seeing? I thought that was blind. Or at least myopic or astigmatic.

Re: and trolls and leprechauns
Obviously not, Frako. You would only be showing the dislike that pillow-dwelling Holy Spirits have for sticks!

I got hold of some actual Acapulco Gold back about 1969, and it made things clearer than you do, Scott. What are you smoking?

Re: Elijah Ascends to Heaven
Wow! Just like Dorothy got to Oz!
And she had bunches of Chariots all around her, too, but no Kodak Brownie to document them.
I wonder why the called it the Dust Bowl instead of the Chariot Bowl? Could that be related to camera quality in the 1930's, too?

I have yet to see any sort of light coming from either end of a dust devil. But then I've only seen a few dozen.

It's a Bible Typo.
It should say "descending like a dust!"
Well, either "dust" or "dunce."

The Halo is the only thing in biblical artwork
"Biblical artwork...."
Did the original manuscripts of the Bible come with illustrations? Illustrations that got preserved? With halos in them?
Are you sure?
Olanzapine sometimes really does help my son. Ask your physician about it.

Re: Our Lady of Guadalupe
That oblong shape is a bathtub standing on end. That's how it is universally done to this very day.

Yes, a bathtub! They are all over West Texas with la Virgen de Guadalupe inside, looking out on and presumably interceding for the scorched landscape. Come down and see some - maybe you can get Holy Spirit Vehicles out of their images, like you do for dust out of focus.
