An opening post does not consist of just a title.

You need to state your position and describe what is to be within the topic and what is not included so the scope can be controlled.

In the opening post you don't have to support your position necessarily, just be prepared to when questioned. However, it doesn't hurt to give some support right up front since you are almost certainly going to be asked for it right away.

The post doesn't (and maybe shouldn't be) voluminous. But about half a screen full will probably be needed.
