Does'nt "Holiday" originally mean Holy Day? If so, a federal holy day would exist in a secular government. What good is "holiness" without someone or something to attribute the "holy" to?

Our superhero, SpareChangeMan, keeps Christ in everyday life---theoretically, by spreading his excess jingle. Hopefully society will repay him by providing needed socialist funds for his someday retirement.
