Who created the giants in the first place? And why couldn't he come up with a sensible way of getting rid of the bad guys without killing everybody else? The Flood was as stupid as cleaning windows by smashing them and washing the pieces individually.

It's really pretty simple: If God created everything that is, then He's responsible for all of the screw-ups. You can accept that or you can twist it into something complicated that doesn't make any sense.
