Republican Healthcare Plan

Does this mean that if the Republicans take a long term approach that such a plan would cost more in the short term while the bill is being paid for the next 25 years?They certainly have the mandate and the clout to carry forth the payment of the bill and the addressing of the debts and bills we owe ourselves.It will certainly not help those of us who are nearing 60 with no savings and who were counting on short term solutions to carry us through retirement.Edited by Phat, : No reason given.

right now I suppose we can blame the Democrats. Arnt both parties responsible for increasing the national debt, however?For the average citizen, the answer lies in cheaper costs. My question is whether this is even realistic in todays challenges.And i also wonder whether Ryan, Trump and company will push for cutting government services in the interest of paying the debt bill?some generation is gonna have to start paying at some point. If its going to be my generation, I want to at least have affordable health care on my limited future retirement budget.Currently I am unemployed...awaiting the decision on my Step 2 grievance meeting a week ago.I have no health insurance and cannot afford more than a couple hundred dollars a month to purchase it.I never voted for Trump, but since the Republicans have the mandate and the clout, I am cautiously optimistic that they will help older people like me without taking every spare penny we have.

Sounds like survival of the fittest. Govenor Lamb in Colorado once said that old people had a responsibility to die and get out of the way for the next generation.And IIRC he was a Democrat!

Then again, some people have sex more frequently when they are depressed...it medicates the pain of reality.On my list of worries is the whole idea of the conservative justices that will be pushed through.I fear that the balanced system has now been too stacked on the right.
