Nonsense. Read the conclusions atheist William Provine came to, based on his belief in ToE. It shaped his entire approach to life. Provine also said "Evolution is the greatest engine for atheism ever invented."
I don't know who this guy is and I'm not interested enough to look him up, but I think he is completely wrong. In my own personal case,
"Christianity was the greatest engine for atheism ever invented", but looking back I would probably modify that to be
"religion is the greatest force for atheism ever invented."
