The Protestants were very unfair to the Anabaptists, though I don'g think anything they did amounted to genocide. And they put nineteen uputative witches to death in New England. But the RCC put to death some fifty million biblical Christians plus seventeen million Jews, Muslims, witches and others over six hundred years of inquisition, and even in the nineteenth century Garibaldi found "heretics" being tortured in dungeons in Rome. The RCC puts the Pope in the place of God, it promotes the worship of "Mary" -- practiced particularly by the Popes, and most particularly by Pope John Paul, --and prayer to "saints."
