It's a get-out-of-tribulation-free card. It's the same purpose as your faith-only stance - you get a free pass without actually doing anything but an empty profession of faith. And of course, neither faith-only nor the rapture are supported by the Bible.

It isn't sending away the policeman, the boat and the helicopter while you wait for God to save you. It's DOING what the messenger told you to DO. It's building your own ark. It's getting on the f**king helicopter. If you don't pay any attention to the message, you don't have any real faith in the messenger. Will you ever understand that?
