If he has done anything criminal he would have been charged with it already.As for impeachment, they are probably going to go ahead with it despite the fact that there is nothing to justify it, no treason, no high crimes and misdemeanors, nothing. They lie through their teeth, they have meetings behind closed doors which is not the American way, it should be out in the open, there should be legal procedures, due process, protection of the defendant's rights. There should be opportunities for the defendant to answer and defend himself, there should be actual criminal or at least clear charges of some sort to justify their actions, clearly stated charges on paper, but they are acting like a kangaroo court, hiding their methods, trying to concoct something out of the public eye and out of the range of legal action against themselves. This is all a huge travesty and destructive of all forms of justice in this country. As my side keeps pointing out, they are trying to pull off a coup, they are acting like a Stalinist court. AND THE REPUBLICANS ARE ACTING LIKE A BUNCH OF SPINELESS WIMPS. This is not a criminal trial. This is currently an investigation to determine what charges are justified.Remember that the actual trial for an impeachment happens in the senate, this is essentially the investigation and charging portion.

This is a Kangaroo Court in violation of all normal legal procedings.
