If that is the case, then she should beat Trump without even trying. I can think of 10 horrible things Donald Trump has said or lied about for every 1 that you can name for Warren. The real challenge for Warren is to soften her image a bit, and the tough task of creating a good campaign office.

My thoughts exactly. It would be nice to see someone around the ages of Bill Clinton and Obama who can exude some youthful exuberance and connect with people of different age groups. On top of that, anyone in their 60's who has been in politics is probably going to have something sexist, mysogynistic, racist, or anachronistic in their past which can be dug up and paraded about. The difference is that people who are going to vote for Trump don't care about those things. The real danger is dispassionate Democratic voters who don't show up to the polls. Hillary, for whatever reason, failed to get people to the polls because they weren't that excited to vote for her.

Years ago I worked a retail job part time. I was busy with some other tasks and failed to help out some customers to the extent they were expecting. They complained to my boss, and I then explained how I really did help them. He patiently explained to me that "perception is reality" when it comes to interacting with the public, and I have remembered that lesson ever since.This is the problem that Biden and Sanders are going to run up against. Exactly. All of the current top 15 Democratic candidates are better than Trump, so let's not trip on not having a perfect candidate an instead elect a better candidate.

If we limit ourselves to politicians: Ron Paul, Steve King, Sarah Palin, and Rick Santorum (Google it). If I were to think of the one politician who is just above the Trump line I would probably pick Pence, ironically enough.

I would say Beto is shallow, and he needs a bit more life experience. He has promise, but he isn't ready for the big show quite yet.Also, millennials remember Obama. He was relatively young, but you could see the intelligent mind chugging away behind those eyes. That's what Beto lacks.

Barney Frank has the best wit of any Democrat in the last 20 years. I wish he was running, if only for the humor he would bring to the campaign. Barney as a running mate would be magnificent. Just thinking about the Frank-Pence debate brings a smile to my face.

That's what I think as well. When Republicans wouldn't even consider Obama's nomination for the Supreme Court they crossed a serious line. After that, they got rid of the fillibuster for nominees once they were in charge. In this atmosphere, just being normal is hyper-partisan in comparison.For me, I don't like Warren's style, but I wouldn't call her fake. Out of the current field, Warren is really the only one I can point to and name real accomplishments she has made on the behalf of citizens, such as the Consumer Protection agency. Her positions on the accessibility of education is also something I strongly agree with. I just wish hearing her voice didn't make me cringe.

Without a 2/3 majority in the Senate, veto power is still a real thing.
