Re: Masks Again
I tell people that it is best to get the virus right away due to a few months of immunity AND TEMPORARY VENTILATOR access before the swamp. No ventilators will be there for most soon.
I have a job loaded with asbestos type dust and had lots of my own purchased masks until the last week. I boughtvthem over the years and months. I gave 4hem all away recently. Mostly to kids living bear me. I still have a fair amount of gloves just to help me keep my cracked nuckles and fingers moist at night with petro jelly under the latex.
I don't trust this mythic downward spiral curve anymore. The only way is up, up, and away.
Tests are the only thing saving us from a disaster. Tests and tests alone. Followed by quarantine city for the positives.

Still no Mea Culpas from political class or media.
Trump came the closest today, not that his 3 years as President really qualifies him as a member of the political class entirely or exactly. The 48 years of Biden is another topic.
Trump did say today that he inherited a situation of severely inadequate stockpiles and preparation. He mentioned that the military's mouthpiece advisors alerted him to the short supplies of ammunition and he rectified the situation. The implication is apparently that he did not get the same level of warnings when it came to a pathogenic catastrophe.
This is the closest thing we might have to live with when it comes to getting a mea culpa.
Unless there is a, so far, unseen push for accountability by the people or the honest elements of the press.

It is April 1. Abbott Labs should be delivering on the 50,000 tests a day kit
We only test 200 per 100,000 people while Italy tests 600.
We need 150,000 tests a day at least.
We are at 65,000 a few days ago.
Abbott Labs should bring that up to 115,000 now.
Results come in 10 minutes roughly After a saw of nose or throat

I was attacked 2 decades ago for always yalking about Ebola
I was told how hard it was to transmit, when I said it was an airborn AIDS .
And then there was SARS, which caused pneumonia. Just like HIV.
Eventually I gave up talking much about viruses. I became way more concerned with bacteria, but nobody wants to prepare for anything due to money and cost issues.
Not that I said much about bacteria either.
Now all of us will feel better and cosy when our governments start to spend the money to prepare for the new manifest reality of viruses. And it will prove to be fiscally responsible and economical as well. The understatement of the 21st century.
OTHER Facts. 80 percent of covid 19 death certificates as of April 1 belonged to victims over 65. Another 16 percent of Americans died 45and up. Only 3 percent were 35 to 44. So I can see that the election deciding older folks will be fanatics when it comes to disease preparing issues. Shouldn't they have been that way already, with cancer and such. The sad thing is that they were not.

I got one when it was always 25 dollars but I don't know what it is now. It is too hot to wear now but it is the warmest thing ever for super cold weather. Comfortable too. Don't know if it is useful though.
Can't find it online.

Ventilators are about to be rationed. Awful situation caused by polutical class.
Louisiana pushed back the rationing to probably Thursday.
New York City is going to be a miserable medical ethics situation.
The United Kingdom has already started to tell who gets ventilators refused.
Anybody with COPD will be refused in the U. K. and left to die. Young get priority over the old. This is just about the beginning of hell.

National Academy of Sciences says warm weather wont give the virus a pause
It is a brand new report and I just about shit myself reading it.
Another fantasy shot down. On the same ash heap as the herd immunity b.s.
SARS and MERS were not reduced in their spread in hot and humid weather. Iran and Australia are in summer now. NAS looks at climates in various countries.
And on the immunity fantasy, it should be noted that coronavirus colds are caught over and over again. 10 percent of Wuhan survivors have caught the virus again after recovery.
This is not an easy escape and the 15,000 U. S. deaths are just a small fraction of what is coming. And much more than 60,000 deaths are coming, and I think it's a tactical psychological thingy to claim only 45,000 more will die. Fauci and the credible scientifically minded people are just sure they will have to fudge the numbers in a severely lowballing way to shut up the Hoaxer Truther types who keep on keeping on with complaints that this has been overblown. The evidence that this is really worse than we can imagine WILL COME so temporary scientific fraud studies will have to do for now. Let us see the understating and low balling studies but know that we have no choice.

Feb 29 was first U.S. soil death, now April 9 has over 16,500 deaths
About 6 full weeks of deadly serious consequences.
This is a lesson on what kind of stuff is always possible, every single year.
Never forget.

We ended last Sunday, April 5, at 9,600 deaths. April 12 is over 22,101 with 5 hours
With 5 hours left.
Italy was ahead of us by a good number 7 days ago. Now Italy is at around 18,899.
I hope we DO ACTUALLY get a significant slow down in deaths,, so the projected 60,000 death hope is actually met. I don't know.
I just don't know.

Looks like big companies are laying off employees.
I had to call my bank to stop payments to Verizon.
My phone is messed up, and I need to go buy a new one in the store. I was trying to call Verizon last night so they could help me keep my same number if I decided to get another Verizon phone. I was going to tell them that since their stores are closed, I would need to find a place that is open, if I could. Walmart might be open, according to rumors, though just about everything else is closed. I was going to tell them I would stay with them but it might not be 100 percent certain, since the stores being closed means that I see that as a reliability issue against the company.
It turns out that Verizon won't take phone calls anymore, but their automated response says that they still take calls until 9 PM. I called them 4 hours ago, and the automated message system said that I was calling outside business hours It was 6 PM.
I am finished forever with Verizon.
My service will end April 14,when my payment gets rejected by my bank. The automated system would not let me cancel, and ironically I never wanted to cancel until I found out what a crappy company Verizon was the last day or so.
On to get a phone from another company. I hate phone card hassle, but these days it might be the best option. Verizon is so difficult that I now feel cards are probably much simpler than bank or credit card routing payments.
I am going to wonder how long we must deal with crap like this. This is a bad situation.

About to cross 40,000 deaths April 19. USA
April 5 had 9,600
April 12 saw 22,000
Now it will top 40,000 on April 19
So much for the 60,000 total deaths fantasy. The 60,000 was supposed to be the total U S deaths when all was said and done in the more distant future. We will actually get 60,000 while the virus is still going strong
I am only going to hope this really will be lesson for immensely better preparation for ever going forward.

Re: About to cross 40,000 deaths April 19. USA
I live in the midwest and I can assure you that next to everything iui s shut down.
THE SHUT down is worse than the dreadful virus.
I needed almost a week to be able to find a store that could sell me a new phone.
It is punishing.
This virus is so bad, but I would take 2 million deaths a year over the shut down. We need to prepare better next time. Not that this dreadful virus will ever end.

NBC just reported the evidence.
