Too lazy to look for long but I do not find a topic specifically anti-theist at its base. We have plenty of religious topics where we heathens bite and scratch at idiots, and science topics where religionists go nuts trying to piss down the edifice of physics. But there is no topic that is specifically labeled as anti-theist.

So let's have one.

The intent is to provide a playground more amenable to directly insulting and rubbing societies nose in the stupidity of their theisms.

All within the behavioral norms of EvC, of course.

Let me start (duh).

This is a video about Justice Alito's views on free speech. I'm surprised that a sitting Supreme has such wrong ideas of what free speech is and means even from the perspective of popular misconceptions. As a conservative staunch catholic he has a slanted view of the subject.

But it's the scratching and biting of a religionist's ass that delights me here. This is a comment on a rights issue but it's also definitely anti-theist.

Rip 'em a new one!

2nd source - Excerpts of Alito speech

He was not taken out of context.

Re: Which Forum?
Free for All it is.

just as Antifa is an extreme view of liberalism.

How do you do this, Phat? Antifa may attract from the more liberal side of the fence but it has jack shit to do with defining or engaging in liberalism anywhere on the scale let alone extreme.

I was holding this for next week but since Taq brought him up ...

This is a longer tape of the original act.

Enjoy the humor, yes (it's genius) but more the message behind each picture he paints and each story he tells.

Re: First Videos
If you find that offensive then he has achieved his goal.

And it's not "freedom of religion" that is opposed but religion itself. People can believe any daft thing they so desire but the flip side of that freedom is my freedom to roast you mercilessly for believing in what is demonstrably weakminded bullshit.

Brian's been doing the Mr. Deity gig for decades. If you're offended by this side talk of his the series will not please you.

I'll not even bother trying to justify anything scriptural since none of you revere or respect the book and instead use doctrines of demons and modern political correctness (witchcraft) to spew your anti theist propaganda.

You may laugh and scoff, but keep in mind that we may yet glean some humor in this topic rather than a soapbox for the antichrist.

First, Phat, thank you for promoting this topic. I would have understood if you let this sit in limbo until someone else took a look. I know it is heartfelt difficult for you.

But, yes, Phat, this is, from your perspective, the den of inequity, the realm of the antichrist, home of satan himself with me, a minor EvC demon, acting as emcee.

This thread is home for the antichrist. To every person and idea labeled antichrist by the bloody fork-tongued (fork-minded) priests of your temples, this is a refuge, a respite from the evil that is religion.

There are a few really good concepts christians think they invented that play out big in their book. Of course we demons adopted them well before your god spoke his first words to that jim-jones wannabe, abraham. Don't want to disrespect such noble sentiments so we have adopted these from the larger body of basic human dignity.

Humanist Manifesto

You christians never follow them, anyway.

We will, of course, find humor in this topic because religion, despite being the creator, the advent, of all evil on this planet, is just so hilariously stupid. It's easy, and fun, to make merry of stupid.

Re: GOD In The Frying Pan
Jesus Himself has no problem with homosexual atheists, Were they to meet, He would simply cast the demons that they had out of them, freeing them up to truly love.

So a gay's feeling for his life's partner is not "truly love".

Damn, Phat, you have spoken some evil concepts in your day but this is one of the most abhorrible concepts christianity ever devised.

Christians: Human love is evil. Fuck you very much.

Re: GOD In The Frying Pan
A Christian loves his neighbour and does as he'd like to be done by. That's all it takes.

Oh,god, no!

Having lived this long just to find out I've been a christian all this time?

This can't be right. This is too upright, too wholesome, too good.

We know from history, ancient and modern, that christians speak of this but don't actually practice it. They do practice evil, however. Lots and lots of mean bloody evil.

Here I am trying to get through life as a good guy while skewering religion and you're telling me I've been Christian all along?

I think your definition is not right. It needs to include the Christian hatred of women, gays, Samaritans, any religious cult (even christian) not their own, any nation not their own, and like that.

Your definition needs to include the deep hatred of Christians toward ... humanity.

Your definition may be seen as an ideal but it certainly isn't the reality. Like health care in the USA. We have a good technical R&D definition but the reality of the end product just really sucks.

Talk up the love, sunshine and puppies but in the end, hate everybody. That's more the christian way.

Re: GOD In The Frying Pan
Christians forgive demons, don't they?

Not willingly, I understand, but they're kind of forced into it by their god.

Well, the younger one, anyway. The old one's still an evil bloody prick.

Christians do not like to be stereotyped either.

You're christian. That is religion, Phat.

You don't determine your beliefs. Your gods do, remember?

Submit to his will or suffer the Lake of FireSM!

You will believe as you are told.

Re: GOD In The Frying Pan
First you came at me like demons, mocking Jesus and His Mother.

I hope you note the title of this thread. Like anti-fascist, anti-theist is neither kind nor accommodating.

Which does not anger me, but which infuriates my demons.

No it doesn't, Phat. It just pisses YOU off. No demons involved.

That's good. Be pissed. That's human.

Because now they are no longer exclusive.

They never were.

No longer holding the power of the chosen people.

No such thing.

No longer able to cast your devils out of you …

No loss. Never could anyway.

… but forced to bow and scrape and serve you even if you take all my money and are not Christians.

Where do you see any such requirements other than your irrational nighmares?

But I wont argue too much except to ask which God we are talking about.

Ehh … Phat? The title of this thread, right?

It better not be that pesky altruistic god of Spinoza.

Oh, Phat. You may think you’ve read Spinoza but you did not comprehend his view of god.

I am not a pantheist …

I thought you were Christian?
You guys got more gods and devils and angels and spooks and spirits than a Hindu.
Ok, maybe not. Hindu’s got a lot of them.

Then again, maybe my demons are telling me to fight you on this.

That is YOU, Phat, not some demons. If you want to fight me then ditch the demons and engage self.

Or ...

You can join us. Come to the dark side, Phat.

Not just religion but politics. You can still feel real good like a Christian helping people as a leftist liberal.
You can be more christian, as Tangle defines it, as a flaming liberal than you are now.

Ok, maybe a moderate liberal. Without the flames.

Drop the demons, Phat, and support universal healthcare, universal education and guaranteed income.
And support the tax changes on the wealthy to pay for them.

No trout fishing? Herds of swine? Run off into the lake and die?

No thank you. I withdraw my application for demon.

Still in for minor deity with apps for Ragaraja, Dionysus and Baubo.

Re: GOD In The Frying Pan
You say that, you demon, but Legion got rended into 2000 pigs that ran off into the lake and drown. That's not job security.

Besides, what good is being a demon when any jesus freak with a vile of water can come along and banish you into some pig that can't swim?

No, if I'm going to be a supernatural being I want to be one of the fun-loving sexy kind like Dionysus. Demon seems too busy and responsible for results as well as being subject to instantaneous reassignment.

No, a nice easy avocation of wine, women and song sounds so much better.

Stupid and Evil ??
I intended to post another heathen devil-worshiper video. I have a few saved up for the next few weeks. But then this came into my part of the world.

Not specifically religion-centered but a more philosophical question.

Is It Wrong to Think Your Political Opponents are Stupid and Evil?

If you are not familiar with her, she is not only a radical feminist, anti-theist, flaming liberal (note the hair), political (verbal) bomb-thrower, but she also has that nagging ability you find in some really smart people that they are mostly right. Her skepticism, even of her own beliefs, is science based.

Why is this here? This same treatment, of course, holds for religious opponents.

No. It is not wrong to think any religious opponent as being stupid and evil. Religion is stupid and evil. So must be its adherents.
