Re: $355 million
As long as the lawyers stick to the law, I don't think any lawyer working for Trump should be looked down on.
This is true. The problem for Trump is finding attorneys who want to associate with him enough to represent him.
As a matter of basic rights, every defendant deserves the best defense they can get.
Also true, but even crappy attorneys, recognize that Trump cannot be defended, only represented. Trump is a criminal, we have watched him repeatedly commit crimes, he thumbed his nose at all of us, because he thought he was untouchable, I hope he's wrong!
What kind of fucking idiot insults multiple judges on national television right outside the judge's courtroom?
On a side note, I read that the interest on Trump's fines is a couple hundred grand per DAY!

Re: $355 million
I also wouldn't be surprised if Trump demands his lawyers to break the law on his behalf.
Yep, and he's already burned through the attorneys who will do that voluntarily.

Re: I was wondering...
Once the runway ran out for Gore he shook Bush's hand and supported the legitimacy of his election win (through clenched teeth). That was the end of it.
I have always wondered what Gore's inner thoughts were less than a year later on Sept. 11?

Re: I was wondering...
Brooks Brothers Riot was in 2000 not 2020. Typo

Re: I was wondering...
Yep, me too. This was about the same time as Enron collapsed there were protests about that.
I always thought it was too bad they didn't name it "Black Lives Matter, Too!"
