Re: There was an anti-impeachment group created around 1998.
Old and old. Painful for the nation, enough.
Corruption and treason far beyond anything ever seen before in this country have been perpetrated by Trump and his enablers and minions for the last 4 years. Their incompetence and intentional mishandling of the pandemic caused 400,000 deaths, so far. They spent months after the election priming the mob to an armed insurrection to overthrow our government.
Until there is an accounting with Trump and all of his fellow insurrectionists in the US Congress, first in impeachment and then in criminal courts there will be no moving on about this issue.
There is no fucking bigger crime a president can commit, you silly twit!

Re: Biden's supporters better understand that an issue agenda is the be all and end all
You take your Trump apologetics and fold 'em five ways and stick 'em where the moon don't shine.
You are way too polite!

Re: Where are the N95 masks?
The personal freedom argument against masks makes little sense, but it didn't originate with Trump. The 1918 pandemic also saw protests against masks as a personal freedom issue. It was stupid then and it is stupid now. Masks are no more a personal freedom issue than speed limits, stop lights and driving on the correct side of the road. Hermits can make up their own rules, but anyone living in a society has to make concessions to the greater good, and not spreading disease is definitely for the greater good.
Freedom comes with responsibilities.

Someone enlighten me. Respectfully, of course.
If anyone enlightened you any more you would burst into flames.

Arizona Election Audit Shows Biden Won by EVEN MORE VOTES
Arizona Republican ‘audit’ finds even bigger lead for Biden in 2020 election
quote:
A partisan, Republican-instigated so-called “audit” of the 2020 election result in Arizona has confirmed that Joe Biden did indeed beat Donald Trump in Maricopa county, the state’s most populous county, according to a draft report of the review.
A month-long hand count of the 2.1m ballots cast in Maricopa county, which includes Phoenix, found that Biden actually won 360 more votes than Trump than was reported in the November election. Biden won Arizona’s 11 electoral votes on his way to getting more votes nationally than any presidential candidate in history during the election.
quote:
Even though the investigation was sanctioned by the GOP-controlled Arizona senate, it was funded by $5.7m in outside money, much of which came from conspiracy theorists, including $3.2m from Patrick Byrne, the former CEO of Overstock.com and an additional $1m from a non-profit founded by Michael Flynn.
Election experts have widely panned the review, which they say was rooted in shoddy practice around a pre-determined effort to show there was fraud. Ben Ginsberg, a longtime Republican election lawyer, told reporters on Thursday that Trump allies were “desperate for a win” In Maricopa county, he said, they had gotten unprecedented access to look under the hood of an election. If they were not able to prove fraud there, they were unlikely to prove it anywhere else.

Re: It Has Started
I guess it's invasion and full out war now. At least it's not a surprise.
Should we start a poll guessing when Putin will take out U.S. surveillance satellites?
How about unsecured critical infrastructure?
Can you picture 320 million Americans without power and communications?
Putin and the Russian oligarchs have been preparing for this confrontation for 3 decades, and it turns out they were right, "Americans really are fat, lazy, and corrupt!"

Re: The Biden Presidency Thus Far
Open your eyes! We want Medicare for All, we want unrestricted voting rules that are clearly targeting non-white voters, we want to end racism, sexism, we want to promote democracy but not by forcing countries to use our hand-picked leaders, we want to have science in charge where it belongs and religions out of where they don't belong, we want a living minimum wage so single mothers don't have to slave 3 jobs, we want kindness and empathy and all of those kind of things the GOP does not want to see, and eventually switch out of the filthy oil-based economy and into solar, wind, geothermal and other renewable energy sources and all the CEO oligarchs in jail. i may missed something...
And all the criminals in the Trump Crime Cult to be held accountable for all their crimes.

Re: Why Is Biden Selling SPR Reserves To China?
I'm not saying anything implying a preference for Trump.
I didn't imply you were.
Phat writes:
This administration is doing as much damage to Americans and public interest as Trump ever did.
You specifically said "as much damage as Trump" without any specifics on how Biden is causing any damage.
You are making unsupported accusations of Biden's wrong doing, by comparing him to the most malevolent president in American history.
Phat writes:
This is the last straw. Biden is inept at best, clueless at worst.
The last straw? Well, we caught a lucky break that he didn't appoint you as an adviser.

This is faux outrage about something you and the other fearmongers know nothing about.
And I didn't realize the U.S. president is a seller or buyer of oil, or other commodities for that matter. Does the Department of Commerce engage in commerce or regulate it?
