Senator Tammy Baldwin
I had the opportunity to meet with and speak with Senator Baldwin yesterday. As always very impressed with her. As we talked about, if a CPAP is all the GQP has on President Biden then there is nothing. The battle will still be tough, but the GOP has no real substance.

We also talked a little about Senator John Fetterman. After she talked a bit about him to the audience, I stated that he was my second favorite Senator. It got a good laugh. We also talked about her continued support for the people of Puerto Rico, that have no real representation in Washington D.C., and continued support for Community Health Clinics, and public health initiatives.

But Phat does not care about that. He cares only about himself and what the Youtube people tell him to care about. F everyone else. As long as there is someone he perceives to be lower on the pecking order(not white, not christian, non english speaking) he is content.

I'm guessing that you believe that the United States owes the world some sort of reparation.
The US needs to own up and take responsibility for fixing things they fucked up. Not sure if reparations are the answer. Acknowledgment is a good start. Eliminating colonies and second-class citizenship is a start.
Is it a crime to be successful?
There you go with the strawman. Do you think people are successful independent of society as a whole? They can not be successful without the systems in place provided by the government and society. Since they have taken the most from government and society they should pay the most to fix roads and feed people.
To me, the way I grew up, being affluent was the essence of the American Dream.
One of the differences between your view of the American Dream and mine is that you are ok with stepping on and shitting on people to get there. In my view of the American Dream, it is to bring as many people along with me. Without the people I know and love or people that need a hand it is not a dream but a nightmare.

So you peaked in elementary school. Not surprised. I warn my boys not to peak in middle school. So far so good. 11th grader continues to grow each year. 8th grader shows continued maturity and ability each year. I turn 61 next week, too old for this but love every minute of watching them grow up.

President's visit to Wisconsin
The President came to Superior, WI today to highlight the Infrastructure bill. Last week the administration announced $1 billion toward replacing the Blatnik bridge that connects Duluth, MN and Superior, WI. There was a private event at the Earth Rider Brewery which is right at the foot of the bridge. When the White House advance team were at the brewery earlier this week they asked them for people to contact for volunteers. A friend that works there gave them my name. Today I helped guide people to parking. Checking ID's and invites. The volunteers got to go in and watch the speech. Just before the speakers started a couple seats in the VIP section came open and I guess other people were too shy to take them. I was seated right behind the Governors and the Senators. I was directly behind Senator Tina Smith of MN with Governor Walz and Senator Amy Klobuchar to the sides of her. Senator Tammy Baldwin and Governor Tony Evers were next to Senator Klobuchar. Exciting day. I did get a chuckle out of the MN delegation. When Gov. Evers was speaking Gov Walz stood up to clap and everyone else around stood up. I said "When the Governor stands up everyone stands up." Memories for a lifetime. If you see any video I am the bald guy 2nd row left side behind the Governor and Senators. Edited by Theodoric, .
