Re: Jesus was never anointed to Christ
That includes the authors of (at least) the Gispels of Matthew and Luke. That, after all, is the point of the Bethlehem birth and the genealogies (all likely fictional).

Re: Jesus was never anointed to Christ
Correct.

AbE:

One of the major problems in modern Christianity is that for the most part we never teach the reality of what is included in the various Canons. If we taught the much of what was included as in the examples you mention and in the stories of Jesus arrival in Jerusalem were at best political stagecraft or simply fantasy designed to market a position, we'd have far fewer nutjob fundies.

Christianity was a creation of people hundreds of years after Jesus' death. It has continued to be repackaged and marketed ever since.

What needs to happen but is almost certainly what will seldom happen is that around the age of Confirmation, the early teens, Christian teachers pull off the doss and duff and actually teach and discuss what was actually written and why. The growth of myth found in the stories in the Great Commission or Saul's Trip on the Trip are right there, perfect teaching moments but almost never presented to the young adults at the time when they would be most receptive and still mature enough to understand.

It's a tragedy and one that has and will continue to cause problems.

Re: Jesus was never anointed to Christ
GIA writes:

Explain why Yahweh broke the laws of heaven by having Jesus sacrificed instead of stepping up himself.

Because life and death are unique to humanity. Yahweh, GOD I AM that I AM, is eternal and unchanging. Jesus always was in Spirit and became flesh, (stepping out of eternity into time) and is One with the Father. If you want to talk about the laws of heaven, start with the angels and how they were the actual beginning of free will. The only difference that I can see regarding them(angels) and humanity is that once angels decide to exalt themselves they cannot repent. Thus, 2/3 stayed loyal to GOD and 1/3 did not. One might ask why GOD allowed evil to exist rather than "stepping up and becoming evil personified Himself." The main reason is that GOD is the Creator of angels and merely created the possibility of evil....dormant until it was chosen by Satan and the rest of the 1/3.

Now back to Jesus. He became flesh and dwelt among us. He was and is very God of God, God the Son. His sacrifice was painfully felt by Him yet served the purpose of nullifying death and sin(willful separation). You really need to ask yourself why God did anything wrong and who, exactly, is God responsible to? Who was wronged?

GIA writes:

The same fucking homophobic God who would have human men hate their gay children?

You have brought this up for years. First off, it was never God who introduced hate. Second of all, real men would love their children, gay or straight.

GIA writes:

Would you send your child to die in your steed, --- and be as fucking evil as the Yahweh you idol worship, --- or would you step up to your own responsibility and be your own sacrifice?

Who would GOD be sacrificing to? Who would He be a sacrifice for?

And tell me IF Yahweh is an idol, who is the real God?

So Yahweh will always be a genocidal prick, and you say a god that changes from spirit to human and from living to dead never changes.

I did not think you were this stupid.

I note that you ignored who should have died.

So much for your moral, and notions of what being a father intails.

I didn't mean any courts at all. If you follow the conversation back, we were discussing the community or "commune" of Jesus and His disciples. They were on an honor system.

If Jesus is God, what's the difference?

Who would the Trinity be sacrificing to? Who would the Trinity be a sacrifice for?

Re: Jesus was never anointed to Christ
Honor?

I thought the Jews had, what, 319 commandments to follow.

I think I got that, basically.

Why did Jesus rail against the religious law if all followed your unknown honor code?

Where can I get a copy of it?

DL

"eternal and unchanging"

Does death change a person?

Does resurrecting?

That is the problem with your lies.

Sometimes they mage absolutely no logical sense.

You should consider lying less.

"start with the angels and how they were the actual beginning of free will."

I show my veneration of Satan quite often.

Without her, we could not know love.

She showed the hate in Yahweh to those who can judge rightly.

You should see my plasma donation emails, user names, passwords.

613 has been used,by myself, for a long time.

Life force

Soul of blood, etc.

Lol.

I better shut up, lol.

Editing to say I have Ed not donated plasma for over a decade.

No more Ectoplasma from me.

I easily remember "613" phone numbers, though.

??

Where am I deceived?

I think you are deceived as you call your prick of a God good.

Want to argue for that prick's morals?

I did not think so.

Tuck tail and run along with loving your genocidal God.

We're not talking about "the Jews". We're talking about Jesus' "commune" - the disciples, maybe some camp-followers. We're talking about how they handled their communal treasury.

Because they're two different things.

So where is this honor code?

Is it as homophobic and misogynous as the Christian one?
