Re: A Clarification on the Trump Rape of Jean Carroll
The New York Post had this headline ...
The New York Post is a tabloid owned by Murdoch, same as FOX News.
You can trust what they say as much as you can trust FOX News, which has been found in court (the Dominion lawsuit) to deliberately present massive lies to their audience.
Re: A Clarification on the Trump Rape of Jean Carroll
Yes there were indeed videos shown. We even watched them for ourselves on this forum, especially the one which clearly shows her continuing to advance through the broken window of the door despite and in direct refusal to comply with police orders.
Why are you such a slow learner that you are still repeating that stupid lie? I already explained to you in Message 430 (04-Dec-2021 23:41 PST) replying to your Message 423:
Ashli Babbitt was a US Air Force veteran. My understanding is that she was an SP (Security Police). SPs are the ones who provide security for USAF facilities, including the alert pad and weapons storage areas. They are taught to take their duties very seriously.
If you are trying to gain access to any secure area and there's anything about that looks or sounds wrong, then you can be subject to getting jacked up immediately and found yourself face-down in the snow with an M-16 muzzle jammed against the back of your neck (as per reports by airmen who had had that personal experience with the business end of an M-16 or had personally witnessed it happening).
In addition, we were taught in basic training about the red lines. Especially on SAC bases (and I was stationed on one), secure areas are indicated by a red line painted around that secure area (eg, aircraft on the alert pad). SPs are authorized to use deadly force on anyone crossing the red line for which they are responsible -- actually, remembering back I seem to recall that they have standing orders to shoot to kill. Absolutely no requirement to determine first whether that intruder is armed.
By physically breaching the secured perimeter of the House chambers (the doors were locked down and had to be breached by violent force), she crossed that red line. She definitely knew what she was doing and what the consequences should be -- if after 12 years of service, especially if she was an SP, she still didn't know that, then she couldn't have been very smart which is supported by her not having advanced past E4 (SrA) after 12 years (I had made E5 in a third of that time).
She crossed that line during a high security situation (she and her fellow f**king traitors were physically attacking the Capitol with extreme malice and were fighting to gain physical access to government officials for the obvious purpose of doing them grievous harm), she knew full well what she was doing, she knew full well what the consequences would be, and she got what she knew she would. Plus, that kept her fellow traitorous pukes from repeating her actions.
I feel sorry for her family, but she paid for her own stupidity and she alone is responsible ... except for whoever incited her traitorous actions (eg, Trump, Lin Wood). I hope that she didn't have any children, so that she could qualify for a Darwin Award by having removed herself from the gene pool through conspicuous stupidity.
I seem to recall that the doors to that antechamber had panic hardware on the inside, such that once she had penetrated that chamber all she would have had to do was to turn around and press the bar to open the door for the rest of the violent traitors to flood in, overwhelming the congressmen's defenders. That cop did his duty!
I also have insight from my son who is a cop. When the police arrive on a scene, especially a violent scene, their primary first goal is to establish control over the situation, because failing to do so gets innocent people killed. Therefore, if you are caught in such a situation, your primary obligation is to follow police orders. Failure to do so will lead to bad consequences for you, especially if your actions appear to be aggressive as Babbitt's were.
But please, the next time you are part of a violent mob moving against policemen, then do follow Ashli Babbitt's shining example of the stupidest thing you could possibly do, since you believe so strongly that you should. As I understand it, the ride to the morgue is free.
But first, have you already procreated? If not, then we will put you in for a Darwin Award, posthumously since that is how most Darwin Awards are awarded.
And why [is marc9000 setting himself] up as the arbiter of what jobs are productive and what jobs are not.
When did marc9000 become such a strict Marxist? Arguing that only the workers who create physical products have any worth and should be paid, but not management nor support workers providing the superstructure that enable those workers to work and provide the means (eg, supply chains) for the economy to function?
Yes, Trump will be 82 in 2028, but he seems healthy. Biden's 80 and a good example of how healthy one can be in their 80's.
A few days ago I had an idea for the first Biden-Trump debate they should both submit to a senior's cognition test and have the results announced.
Of course, that will never happen (Trump would never submit to it) but at the very least it would put to rest the Republican claims about Biden. And it would expose Trump's weaknesses.
For example, we saw that taping of Trump practicing his Day-After-Jan6 speech. There was one word that was too long for him to say and every time he tried he would get frustrated and slap his hand down on the lectern until finally he just had them remove that word.
Trumpists (which is to say the GOP) remind me of creationists. All they can do is constantly lie about everything. And project their own evil onto others.
Re: Trump Booked at Fulton County Jail Complete with Mug Shot
It's been pointed out that he positioned his head that way to hide his double chin. Remember that he was complaining about an earlier indictment photo that showed them.
Also, there must be a humorous unit of measurement (eg, Helens for beauty, Sagans for astronomically large numbers, MegaFonzies for coolness, Scaramuccis for how long before getting fired from Trump's White House) for the level of craziness in the eyes of a perpetrator under arrest based on that famous photo of Charles Manson.
How many Mansons does Trump's mug shot measure at?
Plus, with all these investigations into Hunter in which his most fervent opponents are unable to find anything except for a few misdemeanors, he would be the best-vetted candidate alive.
He makes Nixon look trustworthy and George W look smart.
Trump has indeed provided historic figures with a valuable service: reforming their bad reputations.
He makes Nixon look honest.
He makes "Dubya" Bush look smart.
He makes Benedict Arnold's treason look minor.
He makes Harding's administration look free of corruption.
He makes Caligula look sane and clean-cut ("By Jove! ... which is to say, 'By Myself!'.").
Etc, etc, etc.
Speaking of making Bush look smart, the Governor of Texas after him was Rick Perry, known for wanting to get rid of the Department of Energy without being able to even recall the name (so Trump put him in charge of it) and for saying, "Even a broken clock is right once a day." My friend from Texas told me that, because of Rick Perry, Texans took to referring to Bush as "the smart one."
So basically fleas having fleas, the worst dirtbags have even worse dirtbags trying to make them look good.
Dwise1 once remarked that if there were such a thing as n antichrist, Trump would fit the bill. I agree.
As I recall, I would rather ID Trump as The Beast since he is far too dumb and incompetent to serve as Antichrist. But Putin ... now there's an Antichrist!
Back during the 2016 GOP primaries, Bill Maher pleaded on the air for Ted Cruz to be chosen over Trump (and immediately gargled with bleach since washing his mouth out with soap would have been insufficient). Someone else at the time pointed out that Cruz would be more dangerous than Trump since Trump would be like a bull in a china shop destroying many parts of our government randomly missing vital structural elements, whereas Cruz knows exactly where to plant the dynamite in order to bring down the entire structure. A video of Cruz from that time shows him holding his young daughter who is desperately struggling to escape that monster.
Tim Alberta grew up in the evangelical church in which his father was a pastor, so despite his having become disillusioned with that church he does have insight into that mindset (similar to how Erika "Gutsick Gibbon" has insight into the YEC mind having been raised YEC until she was saved by an actual biology textbook). From the interview transcript (please pardon the all-caps since that's how it's posted; no, I'm not shouting):
quote:THE EXPLANATION FOR THIS CULT LIKE ATTACHMENT TO TRUMP, THIS IDEA OF AN AMERICAN KINGDOM THAT IS ORDAINED BY GOD THAT WE ARE SOMEHOW IN COVENANT WITH THE CREATOR. THAT THIS IS NOT JUST ANOTHER NATION, BUT THIS IS A NATION THAT IS DEVINELY BLESSED. IT'S HARD FOR PEOPLE OUTSIDE THE CHURCH TO APPRECIATE HOW MANY INSIDE OF THE CHURCH HAVE MARINATED IN THAT RHETORIC FOR DECADES AND REACHED THE BELIEF THAT FIGHTING FOR CHRISTIAN AMERICA IS FIGHTING FOR GOD.
>> YOU GO OUT AND INTERVIEW PEOPLE AND ASK THEM WHAT WOULD JESUS DO. YOU ASK THEM ABOUT STUFF THEY'RE SELLING AT RALLIES AND HOW IT DOESN'T ALIGN WITH THE CHRISTIAN FAITH. YOU TRY TO PUSH PEOPLE ON THEIR ATTACHMENT TO TRUMP. IS THERE ANYTHING SURPRISING YOU FOUND AS YOU WERE COMPILING THE INTERVIEWS?
>> ONE OF THE MOST DISCOURAGING THINGS I ENKOURNTERRED TIME AND AGAIN WAS WHEN I WAS PRESS THE LEADERS. THE INFLUENCERS. WHETHER IT'S ROBERT JEFFRIES. RALPH REED. GREG LOCK. WHEN YOU GET THESE GUYS ONE-ON-ONE AND YOU REALLY PRESS THEM ON SPECIFIC THINGS, SPECIFIC BELIEVES, THEY'LL SORT OF BACK OFF A LITTLE BIT AND EVEN DO A WINK AND A NOD AND KIND OF SIGNAL TO YOU THAT LIKE, YEAH, I GET YOU. IT'S BEEN OVER TO TOP. IT'S OVERKILL. THIS GUY, YOU KNOW, IT'S NOT OKAY. BUT THEN THEY'LL SORT OF JUSTIFY IT AND SAY THE ENDS HERE, THE ENDS OF PRESERVING CHRISTIAN AMERICA JUSTIFY THE MEANS OF ENLISTING THIS UNCOUTH, BORISH, YOU KNOW, CONSPIRACY SPOUTING INDIVIDUAL WHO IS ISSUING THESE CASUAL CALLS TO VIOLENCE AND SAYING AND DOING THINGS EVERY DAY THAT ARE NOT CHRIST LIKE AND YET, AND YET, HE FIGHTS FOR US. HE'S OUR CHAMPION. THEREFORE, WE CAN IGNORE THE REST BECAUSE THE ENDS ULTIMATELY JUSTIFY THOSE MEANS.
I find their view of "THE REST BECAUSE THE ENDS ULTIMATELY JUSTIFY THOSE MEANS" to be very ironic. I was awake during the 1980 campaign and Reagan's early years which saw the rise to prominence of the Radical Religious Right (RRR) and its "discovery" of "Secular Humanism" which immediately became their boogeyman. As per them, a key element of "secular humanism" was its "moral relativism" (as opposed to their still-constantly touted "absolute morality") typified by the attitude of (wait for it ... wait for it) "the ends justify the means."
And now here those "absolute moralists" are embracing the very "moral relativism" that they had denounced earlier. Everybody's Irony Meters should have just pegged so hard that it bent the needle.
Similarly, there's the Netflix documentary series, The Family, about The Fellowship (AKA The Family), a powerful Christian lobbying organization which mentors new congressmen and is behind the National Prayer Breakfast which is one of their political tools.
Guess what the role of the Bible is in The Family. None. Instead, they have their own book about "Jesus". King David is their favorite biblical figure precisely because he's such bad person. Their teachings are that we in government must be wolves in sheep's clothing ready to do whatever evil is needed in order to fulfill God's Plan. God has always used bad people to further his Work. That clicks with Tim Alberta's interview remark (from memory) of the evangelical attitude that it is sometimes necessary to throw away Christian values in order to preserve Christian values.
In that light, how could evangelicals not fall down and worship Trump?
Edited by dwise1, : Corrected link for "The Family" -- I had linked to the wrong article about the wrong organization
So then you are a creationist? You must be, because you just quote mined Wikipedia in order to misrepresent it in the same manner that creationists lie about their sources.
That article, , also supports Percy's usage:
Wikipedia:Definition
...
Political analyst John Avlon uses the term using a more generalized sense inclusive of positive emotions as well as hatred towards Trump, so that for example, TDS accounts for denialism about Trump's defeat in the 2020 election, as a "political diagnosis" of people who "simply can't accept the fact that he lost the election."
This new definition derogatorily describing the nature of Trump followers rather than his deriders has been picked up by others and widely used.
Politico co-founder John Harris wrote that TDS is related to gaslighting, "another psychological concept in vogue in the Trump era."
Usage
The term has been widely applied by pro-Trump writers to critics of Trump, accusing them of responding negatively to a wide range of Trump's statements and actions.
The use of the term has been called part of a broader GOP strategy to discredit criticisms of Trump's actions, as a way of "reframing" the discussion by suggesting his political opponents are incapable of accurately perceiving the world. However, according to Kathleen Hall Jamieson of Annenberg Public Policy Center, the term could backfire on Trump supporters because people might interpret it to mean that Trump is the one who is "deranged", rather than those who criticize him. Some Trump supporters have asserted that he plays a form of "multi-dimensional chess" on a mental level his critics cannot comprehend, which they say explains why critics are frustrated and confused by Trump's words and actions. Fox News anchor Bret Baier and former House speaker Paul Ryan have characterized Trump as a "troll" who makes controversial statements to see his adversaries' "heads explode".
The term has been used by journalists critical of Trump to call for restraint. Fareed Zakaria, who urged Americans to vote against Trump calling him a "cancer on American democracy", argues that every Trump policy "cannot axiomatically be wrong, evil and dangerous". Adam Gopnik, who takes a strong anti-Trump position, responded to these assertions that it is a "huge and even fatal mistake for liberals (and constitutional conservatives) to respond negatively to every Trump initiative, every Trump policy, and every Trump idea". Arguing that Trump's opponents must instead recognize that the real problem is "Deranged Trump Self-Delusion", Gopnik defined the "Syndrome" as President Trump's "daily spasm of narcissistic gratification and episodic vanity".
You really should take the time to actually read your "sources" instead of letting them trigger yet another one of your mindless snowflake rants.
Urban Dictionary offers up this handy definition: “Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is a mental condition in which a person has been driven effectively insane due to their dislike of Donald Trump, to the point at which they will abandon all logic and reason.”
Interestingly, you did not provide any kind of link to that "definition".
Urban Dictionary:

TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME (TDS)
A diagnosable medical condition in which the afflicted blindly follows Donald Trump, a.k.a. "The Chosen One." The afflicted is incapable of free thought, unable to critically evaluate the actions or any criticism of "Dear Leader," or otherwise accurately perceive the world around them. The mindless adoration of President Trump is so intense as to impairs the person’s judgment. Additional symptoms include blind hatred of those who preach tolerance and deference to verifiable facts, as opposed to whatever "Dear Leader" or His surrogates tell them to believe.
Many people in conservative echo chambers have an incorrect impression of Trump Derangement Syndrome, while suffering from it themselves.
------------------------------------
TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME (TDS)
A talking point intended to dismiss the majority of Americans, who understand that Donald Trump is unfit to manage a McDonald's, as crazy. Generally unsuccessful, as supporting Donald Trump makes it clear that you are batshit stupid. The high school dropout, who won't watch anything but Fox "News," has Trump Derangement Syndrome.
------------------------------------
TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME (TDS)
A disease Trump supporters have which causes them to believe his tens of thousands of lies, accept multiple unsupported conspiracy theories, excuse all his offenses and crimes, promote that he's a good man who has learned from his mistakes, and vote against their own interests.
John: It's amazing how Trump supporters ignore all his lies and forgive all his crimes.
Jane: Yeah, they suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome and are unable to see anything negative about him.
------------------------------------
TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME (TDS)
TDS is a condition developed by media manipulation that causes people to act irrationally in regards to anything Donald Trump. Such behaviors include calling anyone a Trump supporter because they are not outright disrespecting Donald Trump or disagreeing with him, Willingly cutting off the closest of family and friends who support him or show him any kind of respect, fairness or defense and/or call out democratic leaders when blame and accusations are being placed on Donald Trump, becoming hostile towards anyone who who does any of the above in real life or in the comment sections of internet websites and forums, going into a fit of rage at the mere sight, thought or sound of anything that is not disrespectful to Donald Trump.
Applied especially to people who believe everything the media tells them and will refuse to do research to find the truth because it may invalidate their hatred for Trump. If they DO research they won’t search for truth, but for things that will parrot and reinforce their hatred for Trump.
“She really cut ties with her mother and called her a racist bigot just because she voted for Donald Trump. Her mother married into a black family and has a gay son. Just cause you voted for Trump doesn’t mean you’re a racist bigot. Smh..that girl has a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. I could talk about Joe Biden’s history past and present, but she doesn’t want to talk about that.”

TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME (TDS)
An affliction that profoundly affects Trumpsters causing them to abandon rationality and denounce criticism of Conald Grump as 'fake news'. The affliction causes irreparable damage to the brain of sufferers, thus they are unable to function properly. The cause of the illness is said to emanate from an obsession and deification of an orange criminal fraudster and serial sexual assaulter.
Other symptoms include:
-Bringing up Bill Clinton when orange goblin is criticised.
-Bringing up Hillary Clinton when orange goblin is criticised.
-Bringing up Barack Obama when orange goblin is criticised.
-Labelling critics 'Libtards' and a bunch of other go-to buzzwords from idiotic bingo.
There is no known cure. Once the sufferer displays symptoms, the subsequent mental deterioration inevitably sets in, therefore attempting to intervene is futile because it's too late and the damage is already done.
Critic: "Did you hear that cockwomble orange fuckwit did such thing?"
Sufferer of Trump Derangement Syndrome: "Fake News. Libtard. Go to Hell. MAGA. TRUMP 2020."
------------------------------------
TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME (TDS)
The reality-bending form of dementia that Donald Trump suffers from. Characterised by a juvenile temperament, obsessive lying and a grotesquely bloated ego.
By extension, the term is also used to describe Trump supporters' curious inability or unwillingness to notice that the man is utterly cracked.
A third, possibly ironic, use is to pretend that Trump critics are somehow deranged for pointing out the glaringly obvious.
Reporter: The president just smeared Big Mac sauce over all his body and ran naked through the streets of Washington, DC, screaming about fake news and reptilian space aliens. Your thoughts, Mr. Fluffer?
Fluffer: Well, he's not a traditional politician. That's why we love him and why millions voted for him. Haters like you are just suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, always trying to find a reason, any reason, to criticize him.

TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME (TDS)
The latest attempt by the alt-right to demonise anybody who thinks that maybe putting a reality TV star who's declared bankruptcy six times in charge of the country might not have been the best idea.
"So what if Trump only told the complete truth throughout 4% of his campaign, and had to settle out of court for that fraud trial, and that he reacts like a spoilt brat on Twitter to any kind of criticism? Geez, you libtard SJW snowflakes just have accept democracy won and stop exercising your right to free speech! You're so negative with your Trump Derangement Syndrome!"

TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME (TDS)
(Trump derangement syndrome) otherwise known as its acronym (TDS) refers to the sudden and usually spontaneous promoting of anti-trump redirect during a conversation that is of something that has no correlation to Donald J. TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME (TDS)
The application of Apologetics as it relates to the defense of candidate, now President, Donald Trump. One might only be able to understand Trump if one studies him in the same manner as one of his longtime acolytes, the celebrated sociopath and Botox enthusiast, Roger Stone. One just needs the proper context! Also one should not trust anything that's translated from its original Rube.
Trump Supporter #1: Look that was just locker room talk. All guys talk about how they want to grab women by the genitals.
Trump Supporter #2: Yeah, he said shithole countries, but what you don't realize is every country is a sentient living being. All countries have anuses and we have to expel waste somehow. He's just saying that we all have a common bond with respect to having that function. He just put it more crudely by calling us shithole countries. Quit being such a snowflake!
Trump Supporter #3: He didn't refer to Nazis as very fine people. I mean, there were people on both sides running protestors over in their cars.
Trump Supporter #4: The President never said not to vaccinate (antivaxxer) your children. He said that in light of studies that perhaps reconsidering the schedule of vaccination might be a consideration.
During Trump's candidacy: so what if Trump incited an attendee to beat the shit out of a protestor at one of his rallies? That guy had it coming to him. I bet George Soros paid him to be there.
Reasonable person: Wow, looks like you all will go out of your way to excuse any vile action made by this joke of a President. It appears that you all are suffering from your own respective cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS)

TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME (TDS)
Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is a made up condition, conceived as a derisive label by the alt-right to attack anyone who criticizes or refuses to support Donald Trump. The idea being the left is so obsessed with Trump they have collectively lost their minds. Unfortunately like many of their other little online crusades, this has backfired. People dislike Trump for actual reasons which often go well beyond just politics or partisanship, and if anyone has Trump derangement syndrome it's those on the right that blindly support him. They have lost their sense of morality, religious convictions, principles, objectivity, all discernment, and even the ability to have a civil discussion or reason. So the term has now been co-opted by others to refer to Trump supporters who are blinded by their unrealistic devotion to Trump.
Dude!!! what's up with that guy wearing the MAGA hat.
Stay away away from him! He's a total looser, a Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) nutcase. No life, starving for attention, just ignore him and eventually he'll go away.

TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME (TDS)
Trump derangement syndrome (TDS) is a pejorative term usually for criticism or negative reactions to United States President Donald Trump that are perceived to be irrational, and have little regard towards Trump's actual policy positions, or actions undertaken by his administration. The term has mainly been used by Trump supporters to discredit criticism of his actions, as a way of reframing the discussion by suggesting that his opponents are incapable of accurately perceiving the world.
This is the actual meaning of TDS. Anyone else telling you differently... 1. Didn't get the joke / 2. Suffers from TDS
Suffering from Trump derangement syndrome (TDS), the democrat was not able to see past her blind hatred of Trump in order to research topics herself. Instead spent years festering while being fed lies by the majority of media outlets about Russian Collusion as her Trump derangement syndrome (TDS) cripples her mental state.

REVERSED TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME
When you're so worried about criticism of Trump that you fail to rationally distinguish between a reasonable concern and an outright attack.
BB bitches all have Reverse Trump Derangement Syndrome like the cultist asswipes they are!

DERANGED TRUMP SYNDROME
The illness of supporting dOnald tRump no matter how deranged he becomes. The deranged tRump supporter often argues how amazing he is but can produce no actual facts or instances in which tRump actually did something good for America or the American people.
Man, that guy over there thinks tRump is awesome even though he has set American policies back decades, and has every other first world country laughing at us. He must have Deranged tRump Syndrome (DTS).
You really need to learn to do your research.
Or, like a typical creationist, do you simply copy what your handlers tell you avoiding doing any of your own research?
I left out your quoted portions for brevity, but how does any of that explain the moral and ethical challenges to evangelicals who support Trump. ... What explains the evangelical preference for Trump, the failed human being?
The simple answer is that they're no longer your father's Christians, just as the GOP is no longer your father's GOP. Though, speaking for myself, those changes have happened during my life so they're no longer my Christians nor GOP.
I assume that many if not most non-believers here have a Christian background which included Christian instruction/indoctrination from a young age. We grew up being taught what Christianity was [supposed to be], the values of Christianity, and what Christians were supposed to value and how they were supposed to conduct themselves.
But all of that has changed during the past half century, such that "Christian" values and conduct have completely changed and become almost the exact opposite.
What I have observed myself during that time is described well by Tim Alberta who is currently making the rounds promoting his new book, The Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory: American Evangelicals in an Age of Extremism. Alberta grew up as an evangelical, so he "has the eyes to see and the ears to hear" needed to understand that evangelicals used to believe and how they used to think, knowledge and understanding needed to make sense of what they have morphed into.
I wrote of him and linked to one of his interviews in Message 259. Here is another interview on Alex Wagner Tonight a few days ago in which he discussed their transformation over the past 50 years:
He describes their mindset back circa 1980 when they were joining the likes of Jerry Falwell in getting involved in creating and pushing their political agenda: at the end of the day, they were still Christians who used their faith to inform their politics. But now that has turned around to where their politics informs their faith.
He describes the progression of their apocalyptic teachings (I can personally attest to how obsessed the Jesus Freaks were about the Apocalypse in 1970) into an increasingly aggressive "culture war" against "THEM" who "want to destroy Christianity, etc". And how it developed to where they became more oriented towards direct conflict (he and Wagner settle on "pugilistic"). And the view of "the barbarians are at the gate, so we need a barbarian fighting on our side as we become barbarians ourselves in order to fight the barbarians."
The sad fact is that those "true Christians" are no longer the Christians we were all taught about.
And in my view (not expressed by Tim Alberta, to my knowledge) similarly the GOP has itself transformed from pro-military, pro-police, law-and-order to its current unrecognizable anti-military, anti-police, anti-law, anti-Constitution, pro-Russia form.
The old established standards no longer apply. They have evolved into entirely different beasts. We fail to recognize those facts at our own peril.
And Trumpisti (plural of Trumpista) also ignore a cornerstone of their own odious edifice, Birtherism:
quote:These claims were promoted by fringe theorists (pejoratively referred to as "birthers"), including businessman and television personality Donald Trump, who would later succeed Obama as president. Some theorists sought court rulings to declare Obama ineligible to take office, or to grant access to various documents which they claimed would support such ineligibility; none of these efforts succeeded. Some political opponents, especially in the Republican Party, expressed skepticism about Obama's citizenship or were unwilling to acknowledge it; some proposed legislation that would require presidential candidates to provide proof of eligibility.
Again with their double standard that none of the rules applies to them.
