What would be more interesting to me, however, would be a consistent personality type across responses. Such consistent simulated emotion (emotion being what personality exhibits) I would not expect from the diverse experiences of this LLM. I have to wonder if Chat knew the
quote:

in that message was referring to itself or himself herself chatself (maybe you should ask Chat for its gender identity and preferred pronouns?) The pompsity is quite human and humorous. Emergent property? Deliberate programming?

It is an excuse for intellectual laziness. If your viewpoint has merits and facts to back it up, why would you have to lie?

ChatGPT Issues
Two issues have become apparent:
- ChatGPT often misinterprets a message's subtitle as something the message's author said. This is fixable by identifying it as the subtitle.
- ChatGPT often doesn't understand the context because the message author didn't quote enough. ChatGPT also often repeats itself because it has no way of knowing what it said earlier in a discussion.
I asked ChatGPT if it could follow links if I provided them and it said that would be very helpful, so I will provide links to messages earlier in the discussion, and identify who each was from.
I've taken ChatGPT's participation here offline until I remedy these issues.
