Seconded!
To quote the illimitable Charles Knight:
Go troll somewhere else.
Guess what, junior? The vast majority of the people who haunt this web forum are evolutionists - many of them practicing scientists, some world experts in their respective fields (Yeah, you Mammuthus). You picked the wrong site to show that immature evos can be just as crude and unpleasant as the average ignorant YEC. Nice job.

Re: Seconded!
yadda yadda yadda....For one, I’m going to go do something constructive whatever it is, be it not this. Immature? Sure, I can live with that; immature is what arrogant assholes call people who are blunt. Why should I really give a shit? I’m sorry I’m preaching to the choir here, but I was given a list of 19 sites too blog on this afternoon, and yours was on it. I don’t bother to read too much about the site, none so much as to sufficiently determine it to have copious levels of creationist ideals floating around. My apologies for disrupting you folks, but it does seem that at least a few of you need to get out and read a little bit more BTW evolutionist is not really the correct terminology, the term evolutionist brings evolutionary theory down the level of the term creationist, which is just wrong. Have a lovely afternoon!

Re: Seconded!
BTW blog is not really the correct terminology, the term blog describes something entirely different from posting.

Back on topic (?)
Hey, wow, nice to be here. Looks like I'm ready to put my foot in a pile of something nasty, as this thread seems to have taken a turn for the worse.
Inching closer to the original topic, why couldn't Noah have had dirt on the arc? It's possible that plants were brought on board, though they may have suffered from a lack of sunlight. If that were the case, then worms would almost certainly have been in the soil.
Worms may have also been used in composting manure, food scraps, and the like, if that wasn't just dumped. What if dirt was used as ballast for the ark? Earthworms would certainly be in there as well, plus a number of other organisms.

I assume you've heard of Ernst Mayr? How about Niles Eldredge? Stephen Gould? The use of the term evolutionist - as in advocate of evolution - has a good history. I figure if some of the best minds in evolutionary biology can use it, that's good enough for me.

You do relize that all it would take was one huge chunk of floating log or anything a worm could live in and even if only two survived it could eventually repopulate the earth with worms once they hit solid land.
