Adam and Eve never existed.
So what is your point?

There was no Biblical Fall.
There is an extra-Biblical account, where Satan Falls, but other than that, can't think of a Fall.

Re: This isn't getting anywhere
Genesis says they were the first life form with speech, the only values given them in the reference to 'kind'; this has nothing to do with today's species categorising criteria.
Which chapter and verse says that?
What does that have to do with whether or not they were Homo sapiens or if they even existed?

Re: This isn't getting anywhere
I would assume that since the man called the animals names he was speaking.
Nice but totally irrelevant to the question. The issue is not whether Adam could speak, but where in Genesis it says no other animals could speak. We know that Genesis does say that the serpent could speak.
And yet again, what does that have to do with whether Adam and Eve were Homo sapiens or whether they even existed?
